I took the memsahib to any early morning doctor's appointment and then we went shopping and had lunch at Chicken Salad Chick.  The memsahib loves the place and I think it's acceptable.  I had the chicken salad BLT sandwich and it was decent.  We went to Hobby Lobby which usually doesn't have what I'm looking for but today was the exception.  I bought a big pad of tracing paper, a new 80 Lb. cold press sketch book.  Some 140 lb. hot press Bristol board, a kneaded eraser, six drawing pencils, and an eraser shield.  $68.  There ain't no cheap hobbies anymore.

I use to enjoy drawing with the real stuff, like you said it ain't cheap anymore. I have several versions of Corel draw and Inkscape to give me the medium and canvas. I use a Wacom drawing tablet for my pens, pencil, and brushes. All I have to buy is the paper or printing canvas and build my own frames. None of my hobbies are cheap, it's amazing how much stuff has gone up in the last few years.

Yeah it didn't pay to use the dump trailer as I had no driver, and the dirt placement needed to be precise.

4 dump cart loads of limbs out of the yard to the woods for burning later along with some boxes then mulched some the wood trails where the flood stacked up a bunch of debris where it formed a narrow creek flowing through there and I didn't want part of the trail to wash away so now flooding can flow through more broadly not causing trail loss.

Sunday School, Church, ate lunch and relaxed and watched some news, Evening Church, and back at home now.

Nearly pushed past the point of no return today..
It was hot and humid and I worked on the 4 wheelers swapping stuff around between the 2. Even in the shop I sweated badly and didn't drink enough water, Seemed like every friggin bolt fought me. And when I did take short break I foolishly drank a mini Bud Light when I should have been drinking water. After 4 or 5 I realized that I screwed up but it was too late.. My knees were giving out and I began get flashes of light. Seemed like I was laboring alot to breathe.
I shut it down and came in the house.. once I got rehydrated and cooled I took a shower and parked my dumb butt in the recliner. I did manage to get most of the work done and Betty Lou did a great job of washing and cleaning on one of them while I worked on the other. She got both of them cleaned up real good.
Tomorrow I'll finish up what little is left to do and clean up the mess in the shop but I'll do it at a much slower pace and drink lots of water.
Not sure when it happened but I guess I got old.

 I press the limits of what I can do and my pain tolerance limit too, I guess I'd rather drop than lay down.  But, now I try hard to remember to drink more water because I hardly get thirsty. My saliva is the last moisture to go apparently, my mouth is rarely dry? With our low humidity the sweat evaporates immediately so sweat can go unnoticed.

I bought several bags of liquid iv from Costco. It is powered electrolytes that you mix with water(sparkling water is better IMHO). It helps hydrating faster-or so they say. I used to use pedialite but I prefer liquid iv because it has no added sugar.

 Yup electrolytes SWMBO has supplement pills with them I took one when water wasn't working did the trick fast. I should probably get my own lol.

I use these 2 products when things are hot. I drink a lot of water and one hydrating drink in between. I had blood work done last week and some things were out of kilter due to being dehydrated. I thought I was drinking enough water obviously I was not.  Both of these products work well for me.

I got out by 7 or so this morning and put the ATVs in their garages. We left them out yesterday when we made a narrow escape from the heat and humidity.   
The thermometer in the shop said 72 and that is right where I have the setting on the a/c unit. The a/c was cycled off. It briefly kicked on once during the 30 minutes or so I was in there.
Next I went to the casting shack and tuned the a/c unit on low because I may end up hanging out in there today. That one is not auto cycle (energy saving) like the one in the shop.
I came in to see if Betty Lou was up yet and grab a bite to eat then I'll head back to the shop to finish cleaning up after yesterday's atv projects. If and when it gets too hot I'll head to the casting shack and hang out.

I work out of doors all day.  I drink nothing but RC Cola.  No electrolytes in there.  Just Caffeine and high fructose Corn syrup!

Ain't dead yet.

When I finished with a little bicycle repair work, I drank Cranberry juice.  I think something with caffeine would have been nice too.
The bicycle needed a replacement rear derailleur.  My son donated a slightly used Shimano (Ultegra 600) he didn't have any use for.  I put a new shifter cable while I had things taken apart.  All is good now. 
The Dura-Ace derailleur that I removed had about 35,000 miles on it.  I cleaned it up and set it aside for an emergency replacement.
I will get a little break now until we will cook a little lunch.

It’s kinda Airgun related.

My old washing machine died last night. I fixed it a couple times and that’s it.    .
So at 6 am this morning I went to the big box store and waisted all the money I saved up for a new Field Target stock on a washing machine.  :'(
