Mowed the barn acre with the Snapper this morning. It did a great job even in the wet grass. One front tire went flat and the other was way low. When I finished (after running out of gas once ) I brought it to the shop and pulled both front wheels off.I cleaned the bead on the first one and put a ratchet strap on it to squeeze it to the bead and aired it up. It seems to be holding. Not so much for the other one. I cleaned the bead on that one and aired it up. I could hear the air coming out. I put some water on it and found the valve stem leaking. I think there is dirt and grass in the seal of it. I don't have the tool to pull a new stem in so I'm just going to run it down to my buddy Pete's tire shop. Maybe I'll pick a bucket of wheel weight lead for casting while I'm there.I'll do that tomorrow, that way I'll know the other one don't have a slow leak.

Glad to hear it has enough power after the engine swap. I just recently put a plug in one of the front tires on my zt. Seems like every year there is another leak.

Thank you all for the kind words about my art. Drawing and painting is my way of dealing with stress. This is a particularly stressful summer.

Pulled a pump up sprayer or of the shop that hasn't been used in a few years. It was here when we took over the place so I'm not sure what it was used for. I'm sure it was either fertilizer or weed killer. I dumped the contents out in the woods and left it upside down to drain. I'm going to clean it out this morning and mix up some vinegar weed killer and spray the fence line.I do have a few gallons of weed killer in the atv mounted sprayer but I don't want to use that because of the dogs. I used to do the ditch line with it where the dogs couldn't get to it.The vinegar, salt, and Dawn mixture won't hurt them and it's cheap. It that don't work well enough I'll go with a bleach mixture.
Finished up making a berm to keep the pumpkin patch from getting washed out again, packed leveled and seeded. The patch was apple trees just this spring, I tore them out as we have planted many new ones that are going into production now.
