Dug out the weed Wacker and knocked down a bunch of weeds/grass along the west fence. Went through a whole bunch of string because it was dried out and brittle. Going to have to put my rolls of string in a bucket of water to soften them up. Have to wind on some more and get back at it. Trying to get a lot of it done before it gets hot this next week.

I spent several frustrating hours trying to organize a campsite for the memsahib and myself.  A good friend is going under the knife tomorrow and the prognosis ain't good.  I'm trying to find a place for us to stay reasonably close to Gainesville Florida so that we can stand by and provide support to the family.  Even with my park service contacts it's been no joy.  So it'll have to be Plan-B.  We are self contained so we will just stay at Interstate rest stops near Gainesville at night and base out of the RV during the day.

A few weeks ago, a Navajo woman, who’s a coworker of mine, told me, while I was munching on my Viet Pho meal with cilantro, that it reminds her of  the soap the nuns used to put in their mouths when they spoke their native language

  I did a search and it looks like there are quite a few types of Cilantro soap sold!
