Bill a swimming pool pole and brush may help. I can get most of the debris off my shop roof with it where I don't have to climb it as the pole can extend 20ft. I also use it to clear debris off my home's roof in the corners where it all likes to collect.

Dan right on that's why I use paper plates and plastic spoons so I don't have to wash much other than pots and pans when I don't shove them in the dishwasher. Good you're on the mend.

Well after killing *6* coons on my property last month for tearing it up I'm astonished to see these 5 around already! Doesn't take long for others from surrounding areas to take over other's territory once they die. At least there was no yard damage so for now I'll let them be but if they start tearing my place up like the last ones did they'll get dealt with too. The joys of living in the country by a creek where all the critters roam.

It snowed last night, no big dumper though, just 1 1/2 inches of snow his morning....easy peasy clean up.

After that I did a little work on the snow blower.
A little tweak here and there, tighten this and that.
Then I did a test run when I was finished.

I envy you Gil!  I've been out coon hunting twice in the last two days with no sign of one.

Well I registered my truck and got it serviced so La Esposa can drive it to Texas later this week.  I dropped off some prescriptions at the pharmacy and bought some more fence posts.  Fencing will have to wait until I can go to TS tomorrow.

Hey, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it December?? It's 67 degrees outside right now!! Yes I live in Arizona but I'm also at 5270' altitude. WTH???

It's nice here in So CA 89°F and 20% humidity, our local mountains are about your temp at your elevation Robert.

Last year by this time we'd had about a foot of snow. It didn't stick around very long but at least we had some. Even the mountain peaks in Flagstaff which are 12k+ feet have no snow.

It'll be lucky to reach 60 here today but the sun should be out and no rain. I think I'm going to go out to the wooded area and see about putting together a natural blind. I have the branches and tree tops that I tossed over the fence when I was clearing the fenced in area. I was planning to build a platform but now I think a more natural style will be better. The old railroad bed will give me elevation and out of the wet when rain fills the low areas and also give me clear sight over the swamp pond and in the trees.

Last night Sean had his first piano recital.  He said that he played his piece the best he ever has.  We agree. 

Afterwards we went out for burgers and fries.  Came home and they had rootbeer floats.  It was a wonderful evening.

Tonight’s plans are to take cheese, meat, crackers and cider over to mom and pops to help decorate for Christmas and enjoy the company and the holiday spirit.  Looking forward to it.  🎄🎁

Sam get a fox pro game caller and invite them to you with some coon calls. They'll come running in. I was calling in hogs once and they didn't come into my yard because the wind was swirling and they smelled us but that didn't stop the coons from running in all ticked off because they thought they were hearing a hog fight and decided they needed to come break it up. Yes a angry boar call brought in coons so try that if you have no luck with the coon calls. I need to get T posts too as I'm freshly tapped out.

Brett congrats on the good times with the family. Much better than having a family you can't stand to be around.

Walked around the USACOE permission, found a tree to sit with my back to.  Played with my GOGogo rangefinder and confirmed squirrels believe I can't hit past 30 yards as  they were noisy and in plain sight at 30-32 yards.  Note to self bolts are for shooting at squirrels on the ground and AG is for shooting at squirrels in trees...ijs

Gil,  I am definitely going to look at getting a caller.

Charles,  I've noticed that by this time in the season the surviving squirrels are pretty familiar with shotgun range.  Once the  leaves are off the trees they stay out beyond 35 yards.

I drove T posts and strung fence to create a smaller fenced kennel area for our puppy.  The Munequita is going to Texas tomorrow for two weeks and I'll be looking after the dogs and working.  Since I'm gone from home from ten to twelve hours a day the puppy can't be left in her airline kennel.  I halved the size of the fenced yard and pegged fencing flat on the ground along all the fence lines to keep her from digging under.  I nailed boards along the edge of the porch to close the gap with the ground so she can't burrow under the porch.  Did I mention that she's a digger?  She'll have the laundry porch and a 25'X25' yard.  I'll still have to get up early and try and wear her out with the tennis ball but that has been the routine with Flytrap for years so I'm used to it.

I am truly blessed that I am part of a family that gets along.  Not that everything is perfect but we can be together and have a good time even with our differences.  We just put up with each others junk because we all have it.  No need to get sideways about it.

Sam I used to recommend the Bullet caller until they went squirrely on also having to pay for their app calls that only work with their speaker which wasn't the case at the beginning as I used to be able to play them on any bluetooth speaker from my phone app. To me once I pay for the calls I ought to be able to broadcast from my car or whatever I wish. So now I just recommend the Fox Pro that has all the calls built into the caller controlled by the phone app.

Brett that's good. Not many families do that anymore. A lot of folks are determined to be pricks and ruin the gathering.
