I have gathered, bought, inherited enough tools over the years that I now have small sets in the house,Betty Lou's  shed,  both trucks, my atv and a butt load in the red shed.

Same here and I keep my tools very organized. The program is many hide in plane sight.

I'm not arguing that the shop wasn't a disaster,  but depending on where I'm at with a project, my bay can look a mess, but there is usually a method to the madness.

Indeed! Now that I can relate to. If I didn't have before and after pics of the mower tore all apart people wouldn't believe all that "trash" together actually looks like a good mower.

Did a bike ride with my peeps.  It was really nice.  It's been a loooong time since we all went on a ride together.  Usually it taking the boys racing at the track. 

Just got back, lunch is in the oven, going to swim after lunch then chill the rest of the afternoon.

I took my 1974 CT90 for a little cruise it got up to 51mph a couple of times. I do think I can tune it a little better but as is it is running pretty good. My 68 I had back in the early '70s did a little better but I did weigh about 60lbs less so maybe it won't do any better.

With the automatic clutch (shifter activated) it is hard to do, I did do a wheelie with it once off the top of the driveway but feel like I need to baby this old bike a bit.

I drove the boat, patrolled the beach, and tried to avoid heat prostration.  After a frustrating wait at the pharmacist I got the memsahib's prescriptions filled.  At home the memsahib informed me that our daughter's apartment lease has ended (and she forgot to tell us).  So tomorrow a.m. early I have to go and load all of her furniture in my pick-up before I go to work.  Then we'll move her in with us (happens every couple of years).  In a few months I will have saved up enough money to get her another apartment or she will have moved to Brazil to live with her internet boyfriend.

I'm actually not upset.  This gives me a chance to sabotage her international travel plans.  My daughter is a neurotic, erratic, but brilliant mathematical genius.  She's also boy crazy as a seventeen year old.  My ace in the hole is one of our summer hires at the park.  He too is a brilliant mathematician, nerd, and hopelessly socially inept computer geek.  Just my daughter's type.    I plan to introduce them and let nature take it's course.

I kinda feel bad for the kid though.  The Iron Maiden is gonna eat him alive.

Mounted the windshield back on the Rancher basically to keep it from sitting around wasting.
Then we relocated the big screen in the screened room turned hangout for more comfortable viewing.
I think we'll start reinstalling the security camera system that we took out of the bar/mancave.

The guy that bought the bar/mancave showed up yesterday to put locks on the doors and closed the gate. It's official now. We had plenty of time and got all of our belongings out... others, not so much. Not my problem, they had plenty of time.
The new owner and I had a great talk yesterday. We exchanged numbers for emergency contacts. I'm going to continue mowing the property for him mainly to keep critters away from our place. He plans to put a privacy fence all around his place but said it would not enclose our access drive and we could consider it ours as he has other access to his property that will have a locked gate.

I've never tried to play match maker for her before.  Always figured it would back fire.  But ever since I met his guy I've been thinking how much she would like him.  I just feel bad about setting him up with such a train wreck.

Unfortunately needs must when the devil drives.

Internet/streaming access changes....
I had 300 ft of outdoor cat6 to the bar/mancave from the main router in the house and had another router in the utility room to send wireless to the Red Shed. The Red Shed had a weak signal because the Red Shed and our mobile home both have metal siding. I also had to physically switch the connection from bar to Red Shed when I wanted to use one or the other.
When the bar went away I relocated the cat6 to the Red Shed and deleted the router in the utility room.
Then we set up the screened room to be our new bar/chillin' space. I ran cat6 from the Red Shed router to a desktop in the new space and hung the big screen tv on the wall.
The new problem was a weak wireless signal to that TV.
The fix....
Access point... I plugged a spare router into the cat6 from the Red Shed router and reconfigured it to be strictly and access point. I then plugged ethernet to the desktop and wireless connection to the TV.
I now have excellent connection inside and outside of our home. Betty Lou has wireless access in her she shed if she wants it and we have wireless on the front deck and bbq areas. I also have wireless and ethernet in the Red Shed.

Picked the hot peppers and placed them in the dehydrator for drying. Worked on fishing stuff while recuperating from mowing the jungle for the last 2 days. Just plain to hot outside to do anything. People are falling out like flies around here, dehydration is the number 1 problem with most of them and they don't have a enough sense to stay in a cool place during the hottest part of the day. I do most of the outside stuff before 10 a.m. and don't come back out until about 6 p.m. Probably get up in the morning early and go fish before it gets to hot, tired of sitting around.

Wrapping a Kydex Taco around a PB so no details or pics but thanks to Back_Roads for the smelting gloves tip as I used them to remove the Kydex from the Goodwill Toaster Oven.....Didn't use Memsahib's toaster oven or oven mit.....lol

Kinda airgun related... kinda not.
Before the bar/mancave sold and we cleared our stuff out, I had an 8 camera security system in there monitoring 80% of the property. I have another 4 camera system in the house that monitors the other 20%.
The 32" screen that displayed that 8 camera system got moved to the Red Shed and now provides things like streaming sports and airgun related videos. It is also used to display HDMI heads up display for the ATN X Sight HD scope both gallery and live.
Today we began the process of determining where and how we would move the 8 camera system into our new 'hangout' bar area in the house. It was a 12 x 20 screened in deck that we dried in and insulated.
The problem was, as mention, I used the 32" monitor in the Red Shed. So off to the pawn shop I went to see what they had. Lo and behold they had a Magnavox 32" flat screen TV with the needed HDMI ports. I picked it up for a cool $40 w/remote.
Tomorrow morning we'll begin installing the new security system.

Got outta bed at 8:00 a.m.  Went back to bed at 9:00.  Got up again at 5:15.  Thinking about going back. . . . . .  Not one of my better days.
