I hit a raccoon this morning on my way to work. That fat sucker exited the ditch at a very high rate of speed I didn't let up or swerve and well kind of glad I didn't the damages could have been worse if it got into the radar. I never swerve for a trash panda or other animals I may hit the brakes depending on my moral value of that animal. Claim made on my insurance through progressive so now I wait.

A few parts and some paint and all will be back to lookin good. Oh yes here is a few damage pics it was a fatty but not big enough to do anything structurally from the hit it was all plastic feeling.

I have done damage estimates before working for a powersports dealer so I already took way more pics than I am sharing.

Had about the same damage years ago.

Tell me about it! I was riding home from working second shift on my 1 month old Honda CBR 600f3 on the 91 freeway in Corona when the car in front of me ran over a half of a truck tire tread. It flew up in to the air and caught the front fender and then folded the turn signal back so hard it punched a hole in the fairing. To me it felt like someone pushed on the bike to the side. I kept going and when I got home I checked out the damage. Half of the front fender was gone. There was rubber marks all over the right front side of the bike with some down the right side. If I'd been riding my Honda shadow it probably would have broke my leg.

I'm sitting in the ranger station on a rainy afternoon inking some penciled artwork.  It's several panels of a graphic novel I've been writing and drawing off and on for fifteen years.  One day it will hopefully be completed. It's a pulp aviation adventure strip in the style of Milt Caniff, Hal Foster, or my hero Burne Hogarth. These pages are fun ones to draw because they depict a dogfight between a Lockheed super electra and a pair of Nakajima KI 27's.

Earhart was flying an earlier Lockheed model 10A Electra when she disappeared.  This is the slightly larger model 14 Super Electra.

I returned a cat to the vet that was not repaired after last week's visit.
Hoosier Momma has a broken pu$$y and she is NOT happy!
Cat hasn't ate in a week and lost 3 pounds..
 Turns out the little stinker ate one of the grand daughters hair ties.
$500-700 in surgery with no complications.

Matt today I saw an idjit drive right into the curb at 40mph which violently threw his car into the other lane almost hitting the car beside him. When I got up to the red light I looked over at him and he was still texting not learning his lesson. Idjit's gonna kill someone someday. His front end, front control arm, front wheel and tire are likely in need of replacement now because he just couldn't wait to type out lol. Some people's children.

My son's boss let him bring one of the company's skid steer loaders home. He did a little cleaning up along my NW woodline.

I was over at my son's Sunday. I used his air compressor to make sure all the tires on my Z-turn where at their proper inflation before leveling the deck.  I really liked the chuck/guage, well he noticed and bought me my very own.

I have several that are sort of like this. Easy to read and holds pressure until released. The digital ones never lasted long for me.
