Started another marathon shift (40 hours) for work at 7am this morning.  Off at 11pm tomorrow (Saturday) night.

Trimmed a lot of low hanging limbs, sprayed an entire 2 gallon jug of poison on a huge ant bed which was a first for me. Sucker was as wide as my mower and was blocking my trail so that civilization of millions had to die. I needed to mow but my old pc bricked on me so I had to go buy a new one as I'm not wasting any more $ on that old one and spent half a day getting it all setup but it was worth it as it's way faster than my old one.

I just had to buy a new PC of all places I went to Walmart to get one that I was ok with buying. I got a slightly lesser one on clearance for a massive discount to what I was going to pay. The only difference as far as specs was the SSD and the graphic card but saved like 250 dollars. I have 2 1tb HDD and a 256g SSD in my old pc that I can harvest if need be. Ill likely toss the SSD in for extra storage when needed. I probably never will really need either 1tb drives.

I bought my old one 12 years ago and all it ever needed was new graphics cards as directX was updated.

Is how old my previous pc is. Came installed with XP back in the day. Sad thing is I just got a new graphics card recently but does no good on a pc that won't work so I'll have to sell it on ebay I guess as the new pc has way better graphics. Hoping I can retrieve my info off the old hd to restore on my new pc but if it's bricked too I'll just shoot it full of holes and call it a day.

My last straw was when the sound went out sure I could have bought a sound card hammered it in and still use it. But the case is busted up from all the move the power button quit so I just stripped back the wires. It ran hot because of what ever was going on with it. After 12 years it served me well and deserved its retirement.

I could sell my old one for parts but after all the he|| it's been over the years I'll enjoy shooting the ever loving shrimp out of it.

Still running the work marathon.  Just over 6 hours left to go.  The finish line is nearing and the weekend will begin!

It's been a fairly quiet run so far.  Worst jobs out of the mix have been a car hitting a street light pole and a very large tree coming down.   As disastrous as those two sound they were quick and easy to clean up.  They went as smooth as one could ever hope.  There were a few other small jobs in there too but nothing of any significance. 

I saw this the other day.  It's true.

Got the truck and all the mower gas cans filled up; and drug out, assembled; and set up scaffolding for painting the roof-woo boy but am I exited! 
Sure beats sitting around and watching it rust more, though! 
I like staying warm and dry in the winter, LOL...

My mom got home from one of her RV expeditions today so I went over to see her.  She’s 83, sharp as a tack, and still very active.  Mom ain’t hurtin for money and when she decides she wants something she gets it.

Somewhat unexpectedly I am now a partner in this.

I have a feeling I’m going to be watching a lot of YT from now on. LOL!
It will be part of mom’s latest project.  We will be using it in a history interpretation program publicizing the Sopchoppy River Keeper and Friends of the Sopchoppy River.

Some times I like to put on one of his vids while my son is sleeping on top of me and fall asleep my self. He is a soft spoken gentle man and plays soothing music so don't watch if you are tired you will fall asleep. I feel compelled to state he is far from boring you will learn a LOT from him.

Sat on the patio and watched/enjoyed this morning's downpour for awhile, then a bereaved friend whom I worked with/for aboard Camp Lejuene USMC Some 18 years ago took us to lunch.  After he left, I went to the liquor store and after that, not much of nothin'.
