After 2 1/2 days of scrubbing, vacuuming, and organizing, our sailboat is finally ready for spring commissioning.  in truth, you can sail year round here, but i had a knee replaced and didn't feel confident walking on a rocking deck.  beautiful day to be out and although my wife fell ill after only a few hours, it was well worth the effort.

Edged/desodded two more 4x25' garden beds, helped put the sod over some bare areas; watered the onions and the sod we moved... Otherwise enjoyed the first 80°+ day of the year.
Got the sod off 50' of tater bed yesterday; hopefully the soil will be dry enough to work tomorrow-the we can plant the thirty seed potatoes that we have chitted-that will be one-fifth of the 150' of taters that we intend to plant this year...

Shampooed the family room rug and another area where PeeWee relieved himself…

We have no rugs on our first floor due to our 22 year old chihuahua that can't hold her bladder for more than a few hours anymore. About a year ago she started having a lot of accidents, and it started to really increase the electric bill running multiple loads of laundry every day!

The rebuild kit finally came in for the small Honda tiller. They only took 3 weeks to arrive.... 
New carb, gasket, 3 gas filters with hoses and gromet, spark plug and 3 primer bubbles.
It was worth the wait considering the complete package was $20. I also ordered the air filter and that was another $6.
Amazon did refund me $7 credit due to late shipping. I was amazed because I never even complained.
So now, Betty Lou will get her small 10 x 20 veggie garden.

I am the Maintenance Manager at two plants.
 Typically one on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday... the other on Wednesday and Friday.
The thing is my old Skeet Range is open on Wednesday evening on the far "off day" one.

Well this week was mixed up... So tomorrow I will be at THAT plant on Wednesday.
I have my "Old Faithful" 12g O/U with a about 10 boxes of #8 shot shells and a change of clothes in the truck.
 It has been about a decade since I shot competition Skeet league.
Hope this old shoulder holds up.

I busted up a couple of beds close to that size with my Stihl Kombisystem tilling attachment. I would have rather had a walk behind, or a 3pt, tiller, but I couldn't justify something like that for two beds. Plus I already had the Stihl KS and several attachments.

If you have a gravel driveway; you can dual-purpose the tilling when you pull out the rocks... 
That's what we do, LOL....
Granted; it's not that often that they get large enough to make the tiller squeal in pain-but the smaller ping-pong-ball-sized ones are quite numerous

We have plenty of rocks too, I'm sure this tiller will not last forever. I broke my shovel handle trying to get big one out. Ended up getting my 12 lb breaker and 3 lb hammer and got the rock out. Any larger and I would have used the grapple on my tractor. I'm trying to avoid using the tractor till our rocky clay dries up and I won't make deep ruts. Next week I'm going to start dropping posts in the ground for a green house and fences, I just can't wait on the "soil" anymore.

Our entire property is a former crop field. The rocks have long been eliminated.
