My wife and I took our 11 year old twin granddaughters to a movie, and then out to Rite Aid for an Ice Cream cone. It was planned and one want Rainbow Sherbet (talked about it before we got there) and they didn't have any available for cones so I just bought her a carton. Yep I can spoil them. The other was very happy with a Rocky Road cone.

Hmmm.... non airgun related short term plans..
Well, Betty Lou and I will go to Lowes after work this evening and pick up 2 330' rolls of hog wire to run across the back of the property. That will completely finish the fencing project. Keeps the dogs in and the critters out. I'm also going to pick up a chainsaw to clear branches and trees along the back fence line.
I took the afternoon off Friday and we will go to the courthouse and get Betty Lou's ID and stuff changed over to her new last name... 
I inherited an older ExMark Lazer Z turn from Killer and I'm going to drop that off for service and a new battery. It has set idle in the barn for a few years and I know it has an issue with the seat pressure sensor. It has a few other minor issues. The plan is to put that and my Snapper Zturn into service when I retire.

I had planned on loading a few more .40s&w this morning early while the dew was drying then shoot my Hw50, but Pam decided she needed her hair cut and asked if I wanted to go. I didn't necessarily but I enjoy being with her so I drove her into town (22 miles) to the salon.

Oh well, plans change often. It's a good day to shoot. Hopefully this afternoon I'll get a little trigger time with my HW50-.22.

Actually, it's a proven fact that when Sonja and I go anywhere together we are incapable of driving past a Tractor Supply.  We've spent more than one day just driving around doing northing in particular with no real plans and had some amazing fun thanks to sights and sounds.  Rural areas, of course.  The more people around, the more we like our peace and quiet.

I did do some air gunning today plus, I changed out my 30 yard spinner spoons.  The original spoons had not only become bedraggled over time, they were all bent and twisted in their little clippy things from pellet barrages.

I also mowed some weeds in the backyard.  How's that for a non -airgun related activity?

Took care of a few estate legal issues/paperwork. I also went from owner to half owner of the Dodge 3500 too, that is I added my wife as an OR on the Title so if something happens to me she will already own it. Technically we are both full owners of it now.

Put in two more gates for the new garden; and started rearanging fence.
Also hauled more gravel up from the creek, and did some more work on the retaining walls on the banks-was amused to find two crawfish watching me with curiosity from under the bank I was working on... 
Also two little dace just downstream that seemed to be complaining about me muddying the water...

Same here I mowed, weed wacked then blowed the place clean for the 1st time this year. Haven't missed mowing and getting dust in my eyes, or missed the spider webs either.

Another fabulous day in paradise!  I drove two tour boats for school kids.  That’s always fun!  Painted a park bench.  Did battle with the administrative computer system!  Cleaned two public restrooms and locked the whole shebang up at the end of the day.  Still beats working for a living!

I'm not the jealous type about most things, but this grand event sounds incredibly fun.


Sonja would LOVE to learn how to operate heavy equipment from a pro.  She gets thrilled anytime I say we gotta dig holes, chop wood, or run fence.  I can bring the smoked for some smoked Boston Butt along with weedwackers, a few more chainsaws, various polesaws, and plenty of various adult beverages.  Yeah, we'd have to take some days off, but what a road trip!  Of course we'd bring the big-bores
