Holy smokes, this is one heck of a truck.  I grew up with F-100/150s (inline 6 300s, 390s, even a 351W) and C-10s (as well as K-5s- all with 350s), even had a modified D-150 Prospecter (kingcab longbed with a 360 and 4-speed manual).   Older trucks have a certain feel that some of the newer ones I've ridden in and owned seemed to miss.  However...

This 5.6 mill combined with the suspension and overall ride feel more like somebody took all the things I love about older pick-ups and meshed them together with a modern-riding chassis and transmission- maybe it is simply the fact it's a long-bed single-cab rear-wheel drive that made it feel "right".  All the newer trucks I've owned- even my 2000 F-150 4x4- lost that certain feel.  Plus those fun features- power windows, AC, and bluetooth!  I spent a chunk of yesterday after work driving around doing some errands and managed north of 19 MPG in mostly-town driving.  Decided to get on it heading home and was quite happy with the highway on-ramp performance.  Yup, happy member of the Titan club.

Mine still blows a big puff of blue smoke out the exhaust when I first start it after sitting due to valve seals and guides but, it's a beast none the less. I just check the oil often.

You'll likely see double or more miles before those guides and seals need real attention.  Good oil and smart maintenance are key~

I've owned a few Datsuns/Nissans over the years and they have made very few stinker engines.  Even their worst (that nasty 2.5 in the Altimas) was still good for 150k even if you neglected it.  LOL, I find myself wondering what errands I can do after I get off work today to justify driving

I work for a major Hyundai stamping facility. You have no idea how proud I am to drive into the parking lot each day in a Nissan....

It doesn't claim to be Kenwood, but it sounds excellent.  Excellent meaning even better than the top-tier sound system in either Sonja's Mazda 6 Wagon with factory Bose everything OR my old Volvo XC-60's top-of-the-line sound system.  So maybe?

BTW, reminds me of the guy that drove a Scout II that was all rust-and-dirt to the old Ford plant that used to be in Norfolk.  It's where they built F-150s and his Scout II was held together with duct tape, stickers, and dirt.  It had a kajillion miles of Outer-Banks driving on it so the rust was expected.

Ordered a 25' 30amp extension cord for the RV. Now I don't have to snuggle right up to the power source. I can park sideways across the back of a site. I already had the extended sewer and fresh water extensions. Gives me much more choices for getting leveled and making the best of a campsite.

So aside from being glad my digits are still all 100% accounted for, I rearranged my office at home, found 2 more old Android tablets (I swear these things are having babies), several mouse/keyboards I thought I got rid of, a LOT of cat fur, and 2 pairs of flip-flops I thought we left in West Virginia at the cabin.

Currently looking online for a spare steel wheel for the Titan between support calls.  Too many choices... It's as bad as trying to figure out which PCP will be next!
