One of the vehicles we looked at was the F-150. But, , my Judy is too short to be able to see over the dashboard comfortably. Scratch that one off the list. We looked at three different SUVs. No decisions yet.Good luck with your vehicle search.Oh, I almost forgot to mention that it was about 103ºF on the concrete in the new car/truck area. Being as I am follicular challenged on top, I think my little brain was cooked to a medium-well. Mike, with me being a shorty I can relate to that. A mid size truck might be better for her. Some vehicles do have seats that raise up for the driver to see over the dash. Most everything I drive a work has seats that raise up for us short people. I currently own a 2003 Dodge Dakota and it was perfect for me, easy to get in and out off, reach the pedals(I hate reaching for pedals), see over the dash, and get stuff to the tail gate without a ladder. As for the hair part, can't help ya with that one. Short people got no reason....... Little cars that go beep, beep, beep! 😁 So says the lerch! 🤪I can't stand a vehicle that I have to climb down into and roll over on the ground to get out of it. Another words if the floorboard is 6" off the ground forget it. Give thanks that you are not 6'6" tall and 300 lbs. I don't fit in regular sized cars and forget compacts! The only cars I can sit comfortably in are huge luxo-mobiles that I'll never be able to afford.

I had a Dakota, 2WD and a 318....Texas truck brought up here and traded in because to "transplant" didn't know how to drive in snow. The ONLY reason I sold it was we bought a bigger camper than it was rated to haul. Shoulda seen the looks on the "street racers" when I blew them off the lights. LOVED THAT TRUCK!
You sound like me. My mower is in the shop too. I borrowed my son's Scag and cut his yard when I finished mine. I know to people that cut yards for a living this is nothing but for me to cut my 5 acres and his 5 acres plus the additional 3 that we decided to start cutting this year it was the most I've ever cut by myself in one day.

Wow was that hard to get out of.I had a MR2 like the one below back in my young days that was just as hard to get in and out of because a friend who played center position in football (6'1", 300lbs, could bench 450lbs) had a Feiro that I rode in being 5'9" & 145lbs at the time. No way would I drive one now.
I can't imagine how anyone 300lbs would get in or out of a Fiero.
Quote from: Rabbit\Squirrel Killer on August 26, 2020, 09:23:46 PMI can't imagine how anyone 300lbs would get in or out of a Fiero. He got it done and without it being funny to watch either surprisingly but he was all muscle too not fat or pudgy. I used to know a tall guy with a cobra kit car and people giggled watching him get in and out of it as the maneuver was not graceful.
Gave this 1963 Mitchell 300 and both it's spools a thorough cleaning basic service and re-lube.

You want to see a clown skit? Watch me fold my six and a half feet into my wife's Honda CRX. Believe me, I know how Ball Turret gunners felt during WWII!
