WOW !!! Now that's something we don't hear every day.Good on him... and you for raising him with that amount of compassion.
My uncle's mower is in the shop so I mowed his yard yesterday and today.
Bought a 125 gal water tank to haul water for us. Water delivery is spotty and we have ran out before. This way Everytime I go into town to check the mail I'll just fill up the tank and when I get home dump it into my storage tanks. We pay $125 for 2000 gallons right now. Life ain't easy living off the grid but soooo rewarding. No rolling black outs. No electric bills. When we start getting rain again I'll be able to start burning the trash.
Waiting for my son to get out of surgery. He donated a kidney to his friend.
Within about an hour after surgery, his friend had produced more urine than he’d had in the last month. Earlier today, he had surpassed 11 liters. Creatine levels keep dropping by half every test. It is proving to be a blessing. The doctors, nurses, hospital staff, facilities, etc.- all in the right place at the right time. And this is commonplace— an everyday miracle. Our son got home about an hour ago. He looks good. Moving a little little slow. Gave him a big hug (carefully). God is good.
Peter, my Judy and I visited the local Ford dealership yesterday. One of the vehicles we looked at was the F-150. But, , my Judy is too short to be able to see over the dashboard comfortably. Scratch that one off the list. We looked at three different SUVs. No decisions yet.Good luck with your vehicle search.Oh, I almost forgot to mention that it was about 103ºF on the concrete in the new car/truck area. Being as I am follicular challenged on top, I think my little brain was cooked to a medium-well.

Some vehicles do have seats that raise up for the driver to see over the dash. Most everything I drive a work has seats that raise up for us short people. I currently own a 2003 Dodge Dakota and it was perfect for me, easy to get in and out off, reach the pedals(I hate reaching for pedals), see over the dash, and get stuff to the tail gate without a ladder. As for the hair part, can't help ya with that one.

Another words if the floorboard is 6" off the ground forget it.
