Walked the dogs. Fished.  Now I'm gonna clean more fish.  It's all good.  Means more food in the freezer.

Mowed, weed wacked and blowed some of the yard yet again. All this rain making everything grow so fast is wearing me out along with the heat and humidity.

Blew the ac compressor in my 4Runner and disconnected the clutch. Replaced a fuse that blew during the previously stated event and then went for a nice relaxing bike ride around the hood.

Unloaded 9 more shipping containers of stamped automotive parts out of Korea. Today the plan is to unload one more and organize the 20 that came in over the past 2 days. That's 640 ckd pallets. I understand that there are some 40 more containers in port. We are looking into an offsite warehouse.
Yesterday our plant announced an extension to the shutdown of production until May 4. With these raw materials continuing to come in, I will continue to work until they shut me down. I have very little contact with anyone throughout the day.
I did fill out an turn unemployment papers to our HR department. They will file them for me if and when the time comes. They will also make up the difference in my pay if I do get furloughed. I opted for taxes to be deducted. They will also continue to pay my insurance.

Grind up what I chopped up yesterday. Managed to get the blue berry plants freed up from storm damage. I'm slowly getting my fruit tree and bushes liberated from the blown over vines and trees. Enjoying the peace and quiet(not exactly) of yard work and getting plenty of exercise as well. Just one day at a time.

Like the hula hoop in our willow tree. Who knows how long it's been in there. I been here 3 years, someone bought it and sat vacant for a year being renovated. So It had to be the previous owners that actually lived there.. But I heard their kids were pretty old.

Finished my essential duties for the (work) week. They originally said 24 hours was the limit, but I had 20.5 by Tuesday. They said now we can work 40, no OT. So I finished with 38.25 hours by lunch. Better than 24. And I just got the mowing done, so that’s a plus. Tomorrow I’ll get the weed-whackin’ done in about an hour and I’ll have a 3 day weekend. I’ll get some shooting in tomorrow when it warms up, supposed to be 38* at sunup. Hopefully I’ll have a better attitude for next Monday.

More cutting saplings and tree limbs with the chainsaw and trimmer, plus wacking thorns and poison ivy along the fence and getting rid of overgrowth along the concrete with the weed eater. Killed a scat ton of ant beds and there are still a scat ton of them left to kill as well. Got up to 140 on a freeway with no traffic around which I rarely do so I got a charge out of that. When I have a little bit of the shakes after doing something fun I know I got a good rush.

Often do that. I live on a single lane, back country highway, that was almost designed for a sports car. It's curvy. Its got a 55 MPH posted limit. You cannot take the turns at 55 MPH in a truck, or semi truck. It's a fun little road to run on.

So far I have sat outside by the fire, read, drank coffee, showered and changed into fresh (not smokey) clothes.  The sky is clear the sun is rising, yard is cut and I have the next 4 days off work!!!  I plan on playing with the kids, shooting airguns, shopping with Michele, cooking food, tinkering and just taking a break.  Right now it’s time to go surf (the forums).

My Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track model. It's limited to 150 since I don't have the ecu tuned and I've hit the limiter twice in the 5yrs I've had it. Here's a pic of it I posted in the Mustang thread awhile back.

Often do that. I live on a single lane, back country highway, that was almost designed for a sports car. It's curvy. Its got a 55 MPH posted limit. You cannot take the turns at 55 MPH in a truck, or semi truck. It's a fun little road to run on.

Right on. There are a lot of fun winding back roads I often travel on as well. I like those more than the hwys for the most part. Pilot Sport 4S tires make mine grip like mofo. Best tires you can get without going to track tires.

Wow! Nice car! I got my wife a Santa Fe in ‘11, when I traded it in ‘16 for her Tuscon I saw the Genesis in the show room. I knew they were nice, didn’t know about the performance.

I will say this, Hyundai has come a long long way in the past 20 years, IMO they are better than GM.

Now I know that ride can’t be better than My mother-in-laws Benz.

Thanks guys. It's quick and it loves to dance around since they designed it to be drift happy but quality is not where it needs to be despite the appearance of quality so I'd highly recommend buying one used with money put aside for repairs just in case. I'd never buy a new one despite them selling as luxury cars to compete with Lexus ect. I liken it to being in a relationship with a pretty woman because it's fun and looks good but man is it temperamental with a lot of quirks and costly though. When it does what it's told without being obstinate or not demanding money it's a real fun car.

Got the front yard mowed today and a lot of weed eating done then it started raining so the back yard will have to wait a few days to be mowed. Freakin rain.
