A couple weeks ago someone dumped their deer guts in the ditch on our dirt road. All of our dogs got into them and they all got sick and yacked everywhere.

Po white trash pass my place daily and throw out fast food bags and drink containers,  beer bottles and cans, cigarette packs all up and down the road. What happened to having pride in our country?  Now it seems these jerks are becoming the norm.

Not sure, it's all around. People are disgusting and lazy.

We got alot of rental places around the town, normally for low income and they seem to all be the same. No respect. Just because you are low income doesn't mean you need to make your place look like &^^&. But coming from the range one day, there was this sterotypical white trash house wife, standing in leggings, fuzzy slippers with 2 kitchen bags of garbage on the side of the road. Naturally a bunch of trailers behind her. As I passed her, I seen her in the rear view cross the road, and then started to toss those bags over a hill on the other side, one didn't go over, and she had to walk into the ditch to grab. To find out later, it's a cemetery.

People have no respect. I live semi rural area, we got old train tracks that tore up, and tones of ATV trails. The amount of garbage because people are too lazy to goto the dump is unreal. Was like that when I was in the 4x4 club. I think they should start putting jail time for these offenders. But then again our justice system in Canada is a joke.

When you are fortune enough to have country property... some "City dillholes" think they can drive down the back road and dump their trash.

I came home to furniture in my field.

I piled it up in a mass, poured kerosene on it and burnt it on the spot.
 Who knows what bed bug / HIV / Corona was infested in it.

Sad thing is, It's not city dillholes that are doing it. Its the people in your own community. I was talking to a neighbor 3 houses down at the range, one day. We have a mutual dislike for his neighbor. 5 horses in a 1/2 acre, their property looks like a dump. Got talking about dumps and garbage piles all over the time. He sees people he knows coming down with trailers full of garbage. He watched the people across the street use crown land as their dump for the horse manure. Or as you can walk down the old tracks, see tire marks from someone back yard into a garbage pile across the other side of the tracks.

About 10 years ago someone dumped a huge pile of trash in the middle of the road about 1 mile down the road from me, Cars had to drive in the ditch to go around it on both sides. We guess it was because the land owner had just put up a fence to keep the dumpers off his property. The good news is the fences seemed to have stopped most of the dumping on our road. I think it is such a shame people have to go to expense and clean up after the slobs and rude inconsiderate people that have no respect for others or the country. When I was working people use to fill the stores dumpsters with trash too. There was one time the manager saw mail (address) in the trash that was dumped and took the trash back to the "owner" and told them they needed to pay their own trash bill! The store had get locking dumpsters, the trash bill went down to 1/10th of what it had been when they were not locked, so 90% of the trash was from others.

i went hunting the other day in a woods i've never been.  just off the parking lot were bags of garbage torn open by the critters.  as i made my way deeper into the woods i was surprised to find a recently dumped refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher.  they were all the same brand so someone upgraded and decided not to pay the $15 per to have the trash company pick them up.  thing is, they were dragged, i could see the scrap marks, a good 150 yards in and all left standing upright.  weird.  the same amount of energy to take them to the dump and pay a few bucks, but instead they litter a state forest. 


i live in a rural private lake community and we have free lawn waste pickup every week.  however my neighbor will fill his pickup truck with his grass clippings and branches, then drive at high speed down the rural roads with the tailgate removed to scatter because he claims it's easier then putting it in a can and marking it "yard waste only".

Been working, pressure washing, cleaning and doing some wiring and fixing, blowing leaves, and enjoying the BLEEP out of my recent acquisition: a lovely wool blanket off Amazon.  Got a PM from a feller that blocked me which is sad but c'est la vie? 

Anyway...  Cooked a good pork roast and been setting up my new abode.  And yes, sadly I had to run around the edge of the property and pick up a buncha dumped trash

I measured and did some research online- probably gonna have 5 or 6 CY of gravel delivered so I have more usable yard and less mud out back.  I also may pour a small slab and add some pavers for a little patio.  It may be a rental but as long I'm here, it's Home. 

Honestly, I forgot just how nice it can be living by myself.  I haven't touched my airguns except to move them these last few days.

Went to Fort Clinch for the Field Practical exam to renew my Historic Weapons certification.  Fired the 12 pounder Parrot rifle and a couple of muskets.  I love my job!

Yesterday, I made mention the local rock station was giving away tickets for her upcoming show.
 BOOM! Hoosier Momma was on it.
 We are now front section center for June 5th concert..

SWMBO and I go and see a few plays a year. May not sound like a manly thing to do but when you sit through one are realize how entertaning it is you forget everything and get engrossed into it. Our next play is the Lion King again but this time we are taking our monster and my mom. Last was a small production of disney on ice and lets just say i was not ok with out any beer sales...

The closest to us is in Toledo next is Columbus and furthest is Dayton. We won't go to Cleveland of Cincinnati just not worth it they seem to have less to begin with and when they do its 2x what we can see it elsewhere. 2 weeks ago I got here and her friend tickets to see rent I wasn't interested in see it so I stayed home with the kids. It is something that I never thought I would remotely like but I really do enjoy it.

Now back to topic, Today was yard work all day, I had some help again today so I am took full advantage of it. He's 16 years old and rode the lawn tractor around mowing weeds down and we had to fix it a couple of times. We put a newer mower deck on about half way though the day after he "found" a piece of Chain Link fence someone ditched in the weeds.   Good news is the whole five acres is mowed now.
 I told his mom and dad that I decided I am going to adopt him, his dad said OK but then his mom said NOPE! 
But she will let their son help me more as I need him.

I actually did something airgun related.  I shot the MP-46M indoors for 6 shots.  Not much to mention really.  Aside from that I added a back to a mobile base cabinet for my wood lathe and found enough nuts and bolts to attach the casters.  Sean came out and hung with me and I got him going on cutting out a helicopter on the scroll saw.  It’s all done except for paint.

Cleaned my way to my lathe and cleared out the mess from around it. Liberated my Dremel hobby sander, found more saw blades for the bench top band saw and table saw. Starting to find somethings that where needed a few months ago so some projects will get completed without having to buy more stuff. Install the other water separator on my tractor and be done with the cheap filters. Clean up what the cold front dumped or strewed all over the yard last night, including the chicken pens, some chickens end up with partial or no roofs.

After the storms last night the trickle out back became a full creek and of course brought trash with it all.  I spent lunch cleaning up after donning some Sorel snowboots for traipsing in the water.  Looks like a trip to TSC is in the works so I can get some proper rubber kneeboots.  I could fill a couple trash bags with what I found.  A couple trees came down and there's a few widowmakers poised above in bad locations- way too much deadfall but the property manager said anything I do that improves the value is okay with her.  So- next trip back to the house I'll be grabbing more tools.

This morning before the breeze picked up I spotted a good dozen female cardinals in my backyard.  Everywhere I looked I saw more- so I'll be putting up a couple feeders for them and the wrens.  No chickadees visible but we'll see if I can bring some in.

Cleaned and rearranged 3 fish tanks.
Moved the Juvenile Mbuna from the 29g up to the General Population Mbuna 40g long "breeder" tank.
Captured my massive Jaguar and put her in the vacant 29g to trade her in soon  because....
 I now have an unpopulated 180g that is going to be filled with a school of Frontosa juveniles Tuesday.

People do that in my area also. If there was a way for the cops to pull fingerprints off that to arrest the pukes make sure and try that next time. Can you setup a trail camera there? If so you could catch them next time.

I've cleaned up baby diapers and other nasty items

I saw a used diaper on the edge of a lake bluff once from tourists visiting AR despite a trash can being just 10ft away!

All that does is attract hogs, coyotes and other carrion eating critters near the road causing accidents and people to get killed. Dude got killed in front of my home last year trying to avoid hitting a hog that ran in front of him then losing control crashing into the ditch.

People do that all the time around my place then the wind blows it into my yard where I have to pick it up so much so that I drive my mower with trailer and use my grab tool to pick up all the trash while staying seated and place it into my trailer then drive home and haul it into the trash can where it belonged to begin with. Someone dropped a 12ft limb in my neighbor's driveway where they couldn't get in so they had to get out while parked on the hwy shoulder putting their life in danger of getting hit by a distracted driver(which did happen to my uncle while pulling into my place once despite being 15ft up my driveway) so they could toss the limb into the ditch and drive in. Those don't mess with TX commercials never stopped anyone from trashing up the place.

These are the same idjits that toss their lit cig butts out in a drive thru instead of putting it in their ash tray where the other drivers behind them who are allergic to that mess have to suffer thru smelling it and fast food places ain't so fast a lot of times where the wait is over 10 minutes.

Back on topic today I got the mower deck chained to my tractor loader lifted waist high to remove old paint flakes with the drill's wire brush as I'm prepping to repaint it. Picked up some trash blown into my yard and 3 trailer loads of fallen limbs. Relocated one of my trail cams and filled in the hole left in the other tree from the camera's screw in mount. Painted over some spots I spackled in the drywall. Got some needed shop items at the hardware store. Fixed some old hog damage in the yard with a rake then drove over it with the mower to pack it down and smooth it out.
