New Xisico PCP Compressor !! with video!

Yes i was confused about that also. It's like two different compressors somehow got into one posting. One enclosed and the other open......  The Xisico web site shows the open one.

there are 2 different compressors, the one JSAR picked is the better model, better cooling, and with their changes it should be very reliable,
 i have the enclosed version and just use it to fill guns with a seperator of course, and i use my YH for tanks, just want to baby a portable field unit, i have run it off my car, and off the house

Having read how promising the JSAR/Xisico unit and my personal experience with a YH I'd be babying the YH instead.
It failed after a year with only 11 hrs of run time. It wasn't a unit that was run hard and put away wet in a manner of speaking.

My first YH only lasted a year, but it was the basic model.  The current one is coming up on a year and is still working well, it's the auto shut-off model, but I don't use the auto shut-off function.  I'm just hoping it lasts until the JSAR model starts shipping because I'm ready to cut the hose!  LOL!

I though the Basic and a Auto Shut-Off were the same unit essentially. Just the bells and whistles made them different.
Quality should have been the same. Will be interesting if the second unit last longer.

Had I used my YH to fill my PCP's directly it would probably still working fine. No filling SCUBA tank or SCBA.
The parts for my YH are supposed to be in on Monday. After I get it running I'll use it to fill my guns directly
until the JSAR/Xisico become available which I hope will be before the YH craps out.
JSAR/Xisico sounds like it can do both with relative ease.

I have the new updated compressors with my input coming this wednesday for further evaluation so if they test ok we will have pumps soon

There are some differences because the auto shut off model is rated at a faster fill rate than the basic or simple as it was called. Plus it has the oil/water separator that the basic doesn’t have. I believe the electric motor may have been slightly different also. It did it’s job till the high end gave out. I did rebuild it but was afraid to test it!!!  If there’s anyone in the FL panhandle wanting it they are welcome to it!  It does have new parts and a fresh oil change!  I won’t sell it because I have no idea how long it will last, could be a day, could be an hour or a week, or it could be a year or more!  LOL!

i just went to the JSAR and Xisico sites and neither show any compressors.  well, xisico shows a compressor and a hand pump but clicking on them doesn't produce anything.


is it just this industry that promises so many new products that we have to wait months to get any more info on and longer for the actual product to come?

Let's say the revised units pass the final round of quality assurance and prove good to go. Then, JSAR orders the updated Xisco compressors for sales stock. Obviously there appears to be a pent up demand so how many will JSAR decide to add to inventory?

All this aside, how much longer will it take for the manufacturing plant to fill the orders and how long will it take to transport these puppy's to JSAR?

 Im being very cautions on this as like I said before I was able to kill both the other test units by using them outside their comfort zone and I know thats what will happen so I have been really pushing it hard like the other units. It hasnt failed yet but I have another week in my testing to find issues. So far so good. It has easily outlasted a couple YH and 2 velvor compressors put under the same conditions. Fingers crossed.

Maybe I missed it, but how is this different than the Hatsan Spark? Now that it is in a black case, it even looks like the spark.
