It even looks like it's got a steel rod in it as well, that definitely looks a heck of a lot better than the yong hengs and others that are the same type.

Agree 100% Most small engines have no bearings, use splash oiling and run for years under much tougher conditions. B&S, Tecumseh and others.

I just read an article bronze bearing vs roller vs ball and I'm not versed enough to say I came out knowing more than before.

Depends on application, but bronze is great for a lot of different applications. My Roots blower has bronze bearings and my twin turbos do as well and like someone else stated, they spin a *(&^ of a lot faster than this small compressor!

Roller bearings have less resistance, reduce wear, usually a loose fit, catastrophic if they break.
Sintered bronze bearings can tighten the fit, can wear, not likely to fail.

In offroad axels we commonly swap out the roller bearings for more robust sintered bronze. The rollers bring up the fleet MPG numbers, at durabilities expense.

for all of us thats interested in purchasing this compressor when it becomes available, give us an idea of the cost......

the first style was said to be around $500, but this one looks different and has your requested mods done to it. so still around $500 ??

Proper bronze bearing material is some of the finest bearings for crank use in existence. Hold a lot of pressure, and can live in very tough environments.

I would be perfectly happy with bronze. Not to mention, it can be easily changed out at any time.

Testing is all done!!!!! Were happy to say its perfect now and we will be ordering final spec pumps and should have them early October.

The worse thing about showing a product before it's ready to be sold on the market is the fact that everyone wants theirs yesterday. Travis that's very good news you just gave us, I recently had a person ask when the new Xisico pcp's were going to be introduced, well. . . . I don't even think that the factory rep that sent me my Xisico prototype even knows for sure and there are people asking me the same about their new pcps coming out, well I had to just tell the last guy that he knows as much about them as I do, they'll be here when they get here

I use mine every day for quick fills on customers Raptors when shooting them at the range instead of emptying my scba tank. Great for the road also! I will be doing a complete review with my buddy Rick Eustler in Texas in a few weeks so watch for that.

That compressor sure does sound like a good one, I'm sure it it's going to be a great seller indeed. Good bye Yong Heng would be the way that I'd be looking at it if I was in the market for a reliable inexpensive pcp compressor
