That's where I'm at too Bob, my .22 mag is basically not really usable out in the field because it was cracked so bad, the .177 is still fine and the .25 has a crack but it's still working flawlessly (I've shot the .25 the most out of all of them.)

From what I've been reading about the DAR, didn't buy one, and the Liberty, which I'm an owner of, when the DAR makes it's day-view it's going to seriously take the wind out of the sale of the Liberty. I'd be one to sell my Liberty to help fund the purchase of a DAR.
The Liberty will have it's work cut out to catch up to where the DAR will be when they become available.
Others may disagree but DAR is and looks to be a the one to watch given the effort to make things right with their Genll.

Matt the thing about the DAR's is they can be adjusted for some fantastic power without doing any physical modifications to the gun itself only adjusting the reg and hammer is really all you need. I had my .25 doing 65fpe 2 days after I bought it but I only got 8 shots on the reg like that, right now I'm getting well over 20 shots at 50fpe the way I have it adjusted now.

Had a chance to shoot Nervoustrigger's DAR Gen II .22 yesterday. Now that makes 3 different Gen II's I've had my hands on.
Jason had used his in a pesting the night before and wasn't sure how well the scope was adjusted.
It was also a scope I just had some problem seeing the reticles. Old eyes and road trip shakeys.

A couple shots from the butter smooth side lever and trigger work had me doing near hole in hole at 43 yards.
(Still want the chance to take one out to 75 or better yards!)

I can tell you you can hit a .25 pellet at 43 yards with Jason's .22!
As I has lining up on a group I had going a tiny lizard jumped on the target!
I quickly adjusted and brushed the trigger. Jason asked me what the heck was that as he had just scanned my target as something fell.
I told him it was a lizard and I'd just done a head shot on it!

When I retrieved it I had taken off the area near the nose and it was still alive.
I put it out of pain and threw it in a bush.
That lizard was smaller then a Bic lighter is thick with a head about the size of a .25 pellet.

Given they solve the barrel issue with the Gen II I believe anyone can deal with the rough trigger if you get one.
I've had Disco's and Hatsan's with MUCH worse.

On the Magazines? Nice construction of good materials. Myself? I'd mark them so you get a visual of when you are empty.
A simple paint line you could do with some white paint so you don't dry fire.

I'd say from the groups you have a stock Gen II barrel as they are now.
There is the biggest issue. I can live with working on the trigger but that barrel has to go!

I did ALOT of barrel cleaning when I pulled it out of the box. And the only other work I've done on it is the trigger.

Had mine out the other day and it is still a pleasure to shoot.
While I had it out I noticed that I still had a 22 mag from my 22 that I sent back. It is well used but I think it is still functional. If someone wants it I would be glad to send it to them. Send me a pm if you want it. First come gets it.

WOW! I guess that it has been a long time. I have not shot mine is about 4 months and it is still fully charged.
I'm still patiently waiting for the upgrade and spare magazines.

Yesterday the mag came in the mail, the first thing I did was rob the scope from my DAR25 to put on my DAR22, then I did a 10 shot chrony string with it because it had been so long since I shot it I had forgotten where I had the gun adjusted. It is averaging 34fpe in high 800fps area, I then decided to head for the state land with it and get her sighted in, it took seven shots to get it where I wanted it, I then continued to a spot where I shot a fox squirrel the previous day and nailed a big male with it. After that I went back to where I was sitting when I shot the squirrel and was scanning the area through the scope (old UTG I bought a the airgun show a couple years ago for $20) and noticed a small tree at about 40 yards that had a tack stuck in it, 3rd shot at the tack and I nailed it, and the other two shots were really close.

Even though I have all three of the first gens it's going to be VERY tempting to buy the 2nd gen in .22 when they come out. Everything about these guns is great in my opinion, they're a really simple and easy to tinker with design. I love how smoothly the hammer slides inside the polymer tube in the receiver, the person that designed these guns originally did a great job.
