Got my BKL scope rings and mounted the Niko Steering on my Beeman Silver Kodiak.Turns out I don't need the risers but the droop was really evident. A little friction tape shim and much better!Zeroed in at 20 yards.
I am anxious about getting my latest mold purchase, I've been tinkering some with the prototype mold I got recently from Al at NOE, everything will be melted back down soon for the mold I'll be getting hopefully Monday.I'm not going to melt down the slugs that I've cast with my Lyman pin mold for the 217-30-FN mold cause they shoot really nice but the prototype slugs not so good on the left side of the pic.20 yards
Bought a 3/8 Centerpoint scope mount for my Hammerli 850 (which has 11mm dovetail); so, I've spent time reading the various threads trying to decide if the width difference matters that much. Any feedback...?Headed to my local box store looking for 11mm mounts, just in case...Archie
