A trip down memory lane. 

Before we were married, Michele worked downtown, I was in the Air Force stationed at Offutt AFB.  I collected comic books.  I would give her a list of desireable comics that I wanted and she would go get the goodies for me that I couldn’t obtain from where I was.  She worked just a few blocks away from this comic book store.  That was over 33 years ago!  She is at the Pikes Place Market today with a couple of our daughters running around and having fun.  She sent me this picture of this store in Pikes Place where she would get comics for me. 

The main comic that I liked/collected was Silver Surfer.  I just looked up some of the selling prices on some of the more collectible issues that I had… WOW!  I would have a lot of $$$ in collectible comics if I hadn’t sold them off so many years ago.  One issue alone is getting near $1200.  I had that issue and multiples of many others.

I really haven't had much interest in rc for the past couple of years, but I'm sure my interest will rekindle again at some point in the future.
This is my favorite spot, which is a nature reserve, and has 100's of acres of structures just like this.
