  here's a tip I gave someone a `while back.'..
  If you are throwing at a wooden target,  make sure the grain in the boards is running Vertical,
 and not Horizontal, and axes and blades will still easier. A buddy had built a target for his teenage son. I made that suggestion and he turned it just 90 degrees and had much better luck.   jmho

My problem is that I’m a bad knife thrower.  😬😆

End grain is the way to go! That soft thud of a blade stick to the end grain of a log is so satisfying. My portable target system is made of 4x4 studs.

Good job Brett! I can still run but I have to be highly motivated like not to melt in the rain because I'm so sweet. I know people my age that can't run anymore so good to know I can if need be.

Ah, Chinese stars!  I am looking to get some of those here soon.  Had some as a kid.  We scratched a silhouette of a person in the wooden fence in my backyard and we threw stars all the time.  My parents never said a word to me about it.  I know if my kids did that to my fence I’d be like “what do you little twerps think you’re doing?!”  😆😆😆

I love it when I get morning sun rises like that. Its like it recharges the batteries.

I know I am getting just to that point where I dont stay up as late as I used to but every morning wither or not I have to get up for work I wake up between 330 and 4 automatically.

You don't know how fortunate you are. I wish I could be able to say such a wonderful thing. They truly put a lot of people through he|| tearing up their places. Thank God I caught the 7 hogs the other evening soon as they showed up and blasted them or they would have ruined my place in no time costing me hours of repairing the damage.
