I'd agree with you gents but that's high desert area, it gets bloody cold at night this time of year.

Hence the fire. I'd be alright with it. I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie. My toes, fingers and the cheeks on my face have been frostbit more times than I can count.

I use to ride those hills 20 years ago but they were shut down because some idiots wouldn't quit riding on Gilman springs Rd with their dirt bikes. There was a ton of riding trails but they couldn't show off to their friends how fast their bikes were out on the trails. We call em pit racers.🤬🤬

It's getting like that everywhere. Sheriff of our county was on the news a week or so ago. Due to a couple kids getting killed on atvs over the past year, we can no longer ride any kind of atv on any public road, dirt, gravel or otherwise. Man, it was HUGE to ride the dirt roads around here. Now it's private land or atv parks only. The fines are up to $1000, equipment impounded and jail time.

Such a beautiful day today. I was outside from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM most of the time. I did come in and eat a hamburger for lunch. I pulled weeds and some brush, trimmed a few branches off a tree, mowed some (not that it really needed it much). I washed and dried the lawn tractor and put it away last. I also rescued the cat out of the tree it climbed, normally I would have just let her get down but we needed to get it back in the house anyway. There are some owls living in that tree so it isn't the best place for the cat to go.

This visiting great grandson rode with me on the lawn tractor for a while and didn't want to stop, he loved it.

It will get down to the low 20°F's in the mountains around here tonight depending on location. The hills that are closest in that pic will probably be upper 20's-low 30's. That is cold in So Cal! We have a freeze warning at my place tonight due to the cold down draft off the snow in the San Jacinto mountains.

I got the local cat looking almost that spolt rottin. If she had her way she'd be 30lbs by now but she's half that.
