I finally have some slugs that are shooting great out of my 705-9 .22, power setting right around 4.25. I can't be exact with the power setting because I'm not able to see the 5 setting.

Those are great numbers Wayne, unfortunately I think I have to take up casting to use those slugs.

There is a typo in my numbers, it should be fpe instead of fps for the 33 and 36 numbers.

Buddy back when I first joined this forum one of the main things I was interested in was casting pellets/slugs for airguns, I had seen how Bob Sterne was designing molds for NOE and have been after the airgun molds since.  NOE has some fantastic airgun molds when they're in stock but if you want them you have to order them soon after they're available or they'll be gone before you know it.

Back from the range session this morning.
Temp around 14C inside 30m indoor shooting range.
Stats:
JSB Hades 15,89gr
Power setting 3
52 shots before going of the regulator
Ave 756 fps
Extreme spread 23 fps
Std deviation 5,48 fps

Shot 7x 8 shot groups
Group 1 = 8mm
Group 2 = 7mm
Group 3 = 11mm
Group 4 = 12mm
Group 5 = 13mm
Group 6 = 14mm
Group 7 = 9mm

Finally got to shoot my sentry yesterday. 14 shots at 35 yards. Yes, the group is way to the left because I swapped the scope off of my rws 48 to my 705 sentry. I shot with the forearm rested on the porch railing. The dot is 1 inch diameter.

Does anyone know if opening up the barrel hole above the transfer port will add a little more power to the 705 .22? The transfer port and valve are already opened to 5/32.

i have had mine off 2 times and checked the crown, which was great. pull out set screw that hold barrel, remove barrel and outer shroud as a unit.  Take it too a wooden bench, hold on too outer shroud and slam barrel end on bench 2 remove outer shroud. Once that is off put barrel in soft jaws in vice ,remove set screw out of silencer, put on welding cloves and unscrew it {not threaded} piece of cake. Mike told me to use this method

Buddy I've always left the barrel ports alone myself because the total of holes is more than 5/32", I have beveled them a little but it didn't seem to make much difference.

Well I did a 7 shot group with out the ldc to compare to the 14 shot group with ldc. The group is half the size in comparison to with the ldc.
I think the shot right on the edge of the target was me pulling the shot.
I guess it is clipping.

It stands for lead dust collector aka silencer.

I did a little pesting for my brother on his property today, here's a slug that went through a fox squirrels skull, severed it's heart in half and ended up under the skin and never pierced through the diaphragm separating the vitals cavity and guts.  This was using my Xisico 705-9K .22.   It was about a 25 yard shot dead center in it's skull just above it's eye's.  This gun is doing over 40fpe from the muzzle to boot and there's nobody that'll ever convince me that these guns shooting these BBT's don't get the job done with flying colors.

The barrel on my sentry is either bent or drilled crooked. I was running out of windage adj on my scope trying to get the poi to move right to zero so I rotated the barrel 90 degrees clockwise and now without changing the windage or elevation it's hitting almost the same amount to the right of the POA plus is impacting the same amount high that it was hitting low before rotating the barrel. No wonder the ldc is clipping.😡🤬🤬🤬

Been very disappointed in this rifle. Gage as received was loose along with the 2 screws under the gauge resulting in the rifle leaking. Now I find out the barrel is bad also. Emailed Mike this morning about the problem with the barrel will let everyone know what he says. It has the+1 tune

Robert Mike is a very honorable man when it comes to his business and I'm sure that he'll get things straightened out for you soon.  I've no doubt that he probably has everything your gun needs to get straightened out as well.  I have talked on the phone with him a couple of times and he's always been very straight forward with me about my Sentry's well knowing that I've personally modified everyone of them myself with excellent results.
