Oklahoma onion burgers, and cold, sweet watermelon for dessert. Burgers were yummy, but the watermelon hit the spot on this 95° day!
I'm at 2 good watermelons, so far for the season.

I had to google the onion burger... looks awesome!

The hardest part about these burgers are slicing the onions. Luckily, we have a mandoline which makes for easy work.
My son and I don't use any condiments with these burgers. Don't need it! You just savor the juicy beef, melted cheese, and gloriously caramelized onions.

We have at least three mandolins that we like using. The only thing is you gotta be really careful using it otherwise you end up with pink onions.

I'm always on heighten alert whenever I use mine. NASA needs to engineer an effective holder for these things.

The potato last night was with cheese, seasoning, bbq sauce and grilled onions. I used some of the leftover onions with the brisket sammich I had today! Watermelon later. Wish I could've found good peaches the other day at the store but they were moldy.
