Went to our local hide.
I had a soft pretzel big as a steering wheel...again.
It had bar cheese, honey mustard, and cinnomen butter for dipping sauce.
Hoosier Momma had artichoke dip with garlic bread that was fabulous!

Eggs, bacon, hash browns and English muffin with strawberry jelly for breakfast. 

The place said they were seasoned hash browns.  Not sure what the seasoning was but it had a tart taste to it.  Not terrible but it wasn’t ideal either.  I think I’ll tell them plain hash browns and I’ll add my own flavor to it next time.

Enjoyed a Schlotzskys turkey bacon sammich! Dan would like how they included pepper. Just needed salt and it was yummy.

 Schlotzskys in Springfield MO. was a favorite of my brother in law.

  Today I had too many carbs and too much sugar. I started with a Bacon and Egg breakfast Burrito. Then I had a piece of Peach Pie. Then at the great grandson's B'day party I had a Burger, chips and two Mexican Cokes (they make it with cane sugar in Mexico, it's the best Coke IMO), and of course B'day cake to finish off with more sugar.

That bread is really filling. I can get 2 meals from the large one.

It was Dinh! Baked in an actual firebrick pizza oven.
So big I got lunch the next day from the leftovers.

It was Dinh! Baked in an actual firebrick pizza oven.
So big I got lunch the next day from the leftovers.

So many dipping sauce options to make those pretzels really good too. I have to admit.. I have yet to try bourbon.

Dogs appreciate food so much they often reappreciate it seconds later. Read/view Ali Bosch's graphic story about her dog that reappreciated one treat seven times on one car ride. The thought bubble above the dog reads something to the effect of, "I am MAGICAL! I make food again!"

Dan same here with the cokes until I stopped drinking them and I'm doing better for it. I still partake of the sweet tea goodness at times but nowhere near what I used to.

Bill I ordered a medium but may have got a large as it's 6" wide x 2" high where I got 2 meals out of it also. Their cinnamon rolls ain't bad either. Going to try their bbq chicken sammich later.

Brunch was  reheating all the leftovers from last week.     Turkey, cranberry sauce, salmon and a pork cutlet.   I love meals like that.    Actually I love pretty much every meal.

I had the large original deluxe. Like I said.. 2 meals. I had half there and the other half later in the motel room.

Asked Hoosier Momma what she wanted for supper.. i was thinking Grilled chicken would be the answer.

Oh my.. she requested my Alfredo pasta (favorite) with Broccoli.
I got this.. tiny shrimp and mushrooms in the Garlic Alfredo sauce... and steamed fresh Broccoli with Parmesan sprinkled with it on the side.

Sounds good Scott.
The spouse picked up some freakishly large chicken legs on special at Wallymart.  I should have known better.  I marinated them overnight and then smoked them for three hours.  Should have gone a couple more.
They were moist and had a great flavor but man were they tough!  I probably should have given them thirty minutes in the pressure cooker first.

Went to an Indian wedding yesterday. Which is an all day event. Had a lot of Indian food!
Between the afternoon ceremony/lunch and dinner reception, the groom's side of the family headed over to the groom's parent's(not Indian) place for cocktails. There, was the largest charcuterie "board" I have ever seen!
