I've been shooting my Slavia 618 today.
I added a spring spacer because pellets often wouldn't fire ( even after having replaced the seals awhile back ) and so far I haven't had a single pellet fail to exit the barrel with authority.

Thank you for reminding me that my next retro acquisition will be a Slavia 618.

They're quite a fun little 10yd iron sight plinker.

Just beware that if scopes are you're thing you'll want to look for an early example,  and even then I'm not sure what will fit the short little section of dovetail at the rear.
Maybe one of those little $16 4×20 TV screen Tasco scopes ?

I killed my first squirrel with my grandfather’s 618.  Head shot from about five yards.  Grandpa decided that if I was going to shoot squirrels I was going to need something bigger and bought me my first Crosman 1400.  But I learned to shoot with that 618.  My younger brother got the 618 when grandpa passed and traded it away.  I feel the need now to add one to my collection.

Today has been scoped rifle day.  First off, I sighted in my scoped HW50S and next came my scoped HW30S which was followed by my scoped Beeman R7.  All targets were at 30 yards and I must say I am pleased with the groups. I think it's fair to say that these three  rifles are more accurate than the aged shooter but that's okay. 

I wanted to shoot my scoped Diana 34 too but I kinda' gave out.  Maybe tomorrow?

Tested a couple pellets over the chrono with FWB 124 today, did a quick zero off my knee, then took a few shots with it standing offhand. Nice shooting gun. Maybe a little down on power, averaged 759 FPS and about 10.5 FPE over 10 shots with JSB 8.4. Same power with H&N FTT. Betting a little moly will perk it up. Trigger feels like it could use a little too, but it’s not bad. And the Japanese made RWS 4 x 32 is fun. Duplex reticle is so uncluttered. How we did things BITD kids!  Only mistake I made with it all day was letting Kim shoot it. She’s been eyeballing it!

Made a can dance around, behind the shop with the .25 notos, let hole 10 rd mag go, was fun making it spin and flip different ways. First shot it was perched on a gravel pile, when hit it was slow to fall as it was down in the gravel, so it dramatically fell with a slow agonizing twirl, then rolled down the mountain. RIP Cana Pam  :'(

Yesterday was scoped rifle day.  This morning,  I took my red dotted HW50S out to shot some 25 and 30 yard spinner spoons.  That rifle would not miss either the 25 or 30 yard spoons.   Growing weary of the sameness, I broke out the handguns and shot AT some coke cans.  The handguns will definitely miss but, it was enjoyable up to the time it got too warm and muggy for me to stay out.

Maybe it will rain tomorrow?  After all, it is the first day of Fall.

I did get to shoot some yesterday… I broke out my LGU Varmint .22 and shot steel targets at 30 meters from the bench. She was real close to where I left her, but was dead on after 2 clicks up and 2 clicks left on the scope.

The C362 and the Fire at steel and paper about thirty yards away.  I've bored the Buck Rail moderator for the C362 out twice with no improvement in accuracy.  This is the first Buck Rail product that has been disappointing.  Thinking about substituting a TKO that I have.  Without the moderator the gun is laser accurate with Crosman Piranhas.

Been sitting out on the front porch plinking away at various pine cones, twigs and a few items I have hanging in random trees. I'm shooting with my stubby C362. It has a steel breech, an extended brass bolt knob, an 18" .177 barrel and a TKO trigger. It's topped off with the Buck Rail 2 - 6x32 AOEG scope.
I can hit anything I want within 30yds or so with 5 pumps and the CPUM 10.5 pellets. It's short, light weight and easy to load and pump.
It's also set up with a flip up Ruger 10/22 peep and my custom front sight.

I really like that custom front sight.    Trend setting.   Perhaps in the future we'll be seeing Olympic biathlon shooters using the same sight.

Yeah, I figured someone would get a kick out of that. But, it works as a grub screw for the barrel and works for the sight.

 Got my new exaust stem for my Crosman 400 Repeater today and now it works as it should.
             and it shoots Hard!

I did some shooting with the Crosman 38T today, I always forget how nice of a single action trigger pull this pistol has.
I doubt I'll ever experience another replica pistol with as nice of a trigger.
