Oh well. Thanks! I tried some of the slugs you sent me in my 1400. At eight pumps they were shooting about a Mil Dot low at twenty yards. The gun is zeroed for 14.6gr pellets. Quite accurate as well as I could tell. All seven shots were offhand at different ranges. Tomorrow I’ll try some rested shots at paper. What is the weight of these slugs and what mold did you use?

Not a good day to shoot, the wind was blowing out of the North Northwest at about 15 mph with gust 20-25 mph. It was blowing my target stands over but I wanted to do a test between those Falcon pellets SteveP-52 sent me and the Field Target trophy pellets. This was at 25 yds. I forgot to put something down for size comparison but the bullseye is four little black boxes and they total 3/8" diameter. The dark outlined blocks are 1" the thin line separates those blocks into four 1/2" segments. Pardon the flyer I don't shoot well in wind over 10 mph. This is the HW50 .22 shooting both the FTT 14.66 gr 5.53 pellets (pink target) and the AA Falcons 13.43 gr 5.52 pellets (yellow target).I'm shooting at 25 yards and I shot about 20 FTT pellets to warm up before shooting these groups. I began with the FTT first. 10 shots.I should have shot a few Falcons after I shot the FTT but I didn't want to waste any. Be aware many of these Falcon pellets had been straightened after USPS stepped on them so that may have accounted for their flyers.I measured the groups discounting the flyers and both measured 5/8". Not the best groups today but good under such windy conditions. I WILL be testing these Falcon pellets again. Note to self: Don't waste your time or pellets when the wind is so strong it keeps blowing the targets over.
After installing an ARH tune kit in her, I shot my peep sighted HW 50S a few times. Those four little square holder plates are a beotch to get out and put back in!
Shot the Parrus .22 with CPHPs and open sights, then the Octane Elite .22 with CPDUMs scoped at 10x. Both at 30 meters and through the chronograph. The Parrus clocked at 863.5 FPS/23.7 FPE and 10 shots inside 2.25”. The Octane Elite clocked at 820.5 FPS/21.4 FPE and 10 shots inside 1.5”. It was 43*F, I’m a happy camper (shooter) with these for now. The Octane Elite’s trigger is feeling much better and I didn’t even do anything to it yet. I’ll take it though.

Do you ever hunt with it?I re-zeroed my Crosman 1400 for 25 yards with 17gr Ruger pellets and discovered that an adjustment screw on my new UTG 4X scope has rattled loose. Now I will have to go through my box of dead scopes and hope I can find a replacement screw.
Shot my new (arrived today) HW50 .20 a few times before it got dark. Smooth cycle out of the box. Wish my eyes were better -- this rifle wants to be shot with the open sights.
HW30S at steel shapes 20 yards out with open sights. About 40 pellets worth
