Well, we feel a bit better today after being sick for a couple of weeks. That put us well behind on getting the fall mess cleaned up here on our little 5 acre home site in the woods.
So today, the plan is to get outside and get a fire going in the 6' fire ring and get some of this mess burned up. Just being outside brings out the airguns.
Slow and easy will be the plan... we still aren't back to 100% and don't want to push it too far.

That sounds like a plan. Mt day will include some backyard plinking with my RS II and probably the D34 and connecting the last 4 diffusers on my 2 zone Hi-Velocity Inverter heat pump system. Then do the start up and commissioning process, once the paperwork is completed and submitted to the manufacturer I will get an additional 5% back on the purchase price from them.

That will fund a new AG

I shot the 350 using H&N 14.66 grain FTT's at a 3/4" pine board today and I could see through the scope, wood splinters fly out the back like in an old Western Movie👀 HAHAHAHAHA, those pellets sailed right through that wood like it wasn't even there LOL! I thought it was hilarious and I thought I'd share the pics with you guys 😜 I forgot to add this was at 23 yards!!!

The pellet in the above pictures is what was left of the FTT after punching a hole in the board, it hit my 1" oak safety board and dropped between the two, I could only find the one, no idea where the other one went but its down in the dirt there somewhere! LOL

Shot the .25 Red Wolf and the .22 Maximus for 5 shots each, indoors. Then re-filled from the Guppy tank. Refilled the the Guppy tank to 4450 with the California Air low pressure compressor and the Shoe Box. Even in the Winter I like to cycle things for good measure.

I might give the 499, Red Ryder and 1866 a go later today or tomorrow on the indoor 24' range.

Shot my RWS 34 clone today.
30 yards with 4.52 FTT 8.64 gr pellets that I reshaped due to Field Supply's poor packing.
Even shooting these pellets I was pleased with the outcome.
Shooting the 1" spinners I was 3 for 5.
Shooting the 1-1/2" spinners I was 5 for 9.
Shooting the 3" spinners I was 4 for 4.

I was shooting off a Mini-Pro V tripod, resting the back of my hand the tripod shooting with an artillery hold.

Not the best today but this was at 30 yards with a Ruger Air Hawk.

Shot my 135 .30 until the front screws sheared off, then shot my Bluestreak until it started blowing air out the valve when pumping. Wrapped up by finding a decent pellet for my son’s Crosman 2100 (Premier wadcutters).

Some disappointment mixed with joy lol

Just some indoor shooting with my Gamo P900 .177 cal break barrel pistol.

It is a very affordable pistol, but the fit and finish as well as the shot cycle is great. It serves me well during a quick break when working from home - very relaxing.

I was out in the woods early this morning with my soon to be son in law, Julien. I left Julien snuggly concealed in a tumble of fallen trees at the crest of a long wooded slope that fell to the Sopchoppy river. He had an almost tree stand like view from his perch. He was hunting deer with a .44 Henry carbine and I was after squirrels with my Hatsan 125. I crossed the river and headed up the Florida trail toward Monkey creek. The trail follows the river and it winds and dips through tall stands of sweet gum, hickory, and live oak. I had a beautiful morning walk in the woods. There were squirrels around but I didn’t see any. About eleven o’clock I retrieved Julien and we headed for the truck. Both of us had seen plenty of wildlife but nothing to shoot. We took care of some honey do’s til 3 and then we headed back to that wooded bench above the river.
Julien reclaimed his perch on the log pile carrying my RIM and I found a convenient downed tree to sit on, fifty yards away with my Crosman 1400. Within 10 minutes I saw a squirrel descending a tree 50 yards to my left. simultaneously, Julien spotted another squirrel to my right. The critter to my left was too far away for an easy stalk but the one to the right quickly treed between Julien and I. Julien took a shot and missed. The squirrel moved presenting me with a snap shot. I squeezed the trigger and was rewarded with a week “thut” sound and a puff of air in my face. In my eagerness to get into position for a shot I had inadvertently knocked the bolt open on the 1400. It took me a minute to repump the gun, discharge the stuck pellet, and reload. Julien got off another shot that missed and the squirrel made a hasty exit. We walked back to the truck together at dusk and agreed that it had been a pretty good day. We’d both seen a flock of wild turkey. I saw a river otter and Julien saw two does. We had stalked and shot at squirrels and although we both missed, we didn’t have to clean any thing when we got home.

I shot the MP-46M, HW77K and the Wildcat today. The rain is supposed to start tomorrow. Not sure how much or how little but it shows rain for the next 14 days. Glad we enjoyed an outdoor fire today while it was dry.

Took the scope off my Crosman Vantage NP as I began having flyers which could compete with Elon Musk first rocket launches attempts. Got back to decent grouping, despite a strong wind.

And one more scope to let lay on a shelf (might be used on a pumper ?)
