Been shooting rats at the neighbors chicken coop the past 5 nights.  Tonight will be night #6.  I've taken down 10 rats so far.  I'm using the Wildcat in 177 shooting JSB 8.4 grainers.  Pins them down no problem.

Well, I pulled out my Bluestreak today after getting semi-sighting in my HW30s. And my groups left a lot to be desired. It was the same story with the HW too. I think I’m just tired and need some good sleep so I can try again tomorrow lol.

 Shot my DAR .177 with 12.5 gr nelson ammo, got it dialed in at 30 yards, then a buddy called and asked if I wanted some firewood, so went and got a truckload of that instead of shooting farther 
 I did let my bud shoot it at a pallet lasered at 36 yards and he hit where he pointed it.

Shot my .177 Diana 350 Feuerkraft Pro Compact. The short one with the big muzzle weight. Changed scope. Put a one piece mount on it with a CP 3-9x32 lum from Walmart. Still likes the 16.20grs JSB Exact Beast Diabolo pellet. Wasn't one holin' but holes touching at 25 yards.

Anyway, I was hoping to try these wadcutters on the rats at 6'.  Didn't happen tonight so I unloaded 2 magazines into the trap at 20 yards.  One group was pretty good, the other was about an inch.  6' they all pretty much make just one lager hole.  Then I loaded up 2 magazines of JSB 8.4 and shot those into the trap.  One small hole.  Super!

I get real satisfaction taking these rats out.  I battled rats getting under my house for years.  Think I'm finally rat free for a handful of years so far.  It was seasonal but still, I really DID NOT like the idea of rats under the house.  That is when I grew to hate these vermin.  Now I'm finding it a great thrill to go face to face with them and knock them out for the neighbor.  And it will keep them in check so that they hopefully don't try and migrate my way.  I think if the neighbors don't take some more action against these things, they will just keep coming back.  Next time we talk I will make some suggestions to them.  Thing is that the neighbor on the other side of them has an infested coop just 15 feet away from theirs on the other side of the fence.  It's not as bad as you would see on some of those rattting videos on YouTube but it's still not pretty.

That is excellent shooting, Jimbo! If you don’t have 10 yard accuracy, you got nothing. I really like those FTTs in the XS60C.

Took the Talon out this morning to plink around. Set up my DIY steel plate targets and the new dueling tree. Loads of fun - and that "ping" sound is just so satisfying.

Nothing, I just got out of the hospital; other than that, it's too windy and cold.  Hopefully, it will be nice enough Saturday afternoon that I can shoot a few pellets off the patio and not be forced to watch Tennessee, my alma mater, loose another one?

Went to pop some more rats tonight.  Saw two but didn't stick around long enough to get a shot on them.  They are getting wise to me.  I need to change it up.

Went out hunting today didn't see any squirrels because it was fairly windy, but my buddy and I shot our air rifles at 40 yards for the first time. I was shooting H&N Barracuda Hunter pellets in my 350 and  it blew me away at how flat these things shoot, @10 meters they're about 3/4" low and roughly 1/2" high @ 23 yards and @ 40 yards they were just under 1" low. I just couldn't believe it
