D34 .177, H&N Sniper Medium pellets @ collared doves w/15mph cross wind. Pretty sporty shootin' shortly after sunrise.

I need to find or start another airgun journal/log. I keep forgetting which gun likes what pellet.
Got the Blaze NP out on the bench. Shooting at 31yds. Running through my sampler kit to find the Holy Grail. Betty Lou just informed me that breakfast was being served in the main dining hall and we won't want to keep the servants waiting.

I put a sticker on my guns with wich pellet and distance i have zeroed them with

I put twenty five shots into one of my red targets I printed up this morning, I like em, easy to see in the sights.

Finished up my 2240 build. 10y standing offhand using CPHP and original peep sight no adjustments made after assembly.

Thanks Matt !!! I'll bet I spent an hour looking at all kinds of downloadable targets this morning, there sure are a lot of nice ones out there and my new laser printer is doing a great job printing them. For a long time I've wanted a laser printer but never bought one until recently, heck the price of the whole printer wasn't much more than buying all the refills for it. Another thing I like is there's no ink to dry up, it seems like all my inkjet cartridges would dry up before I used them up.

Head on over to the match shooting gates... they got great targets there. I d/l'd several for my new printer just this morning. I'm gonna laminate and file one of each so I can just copy them without even connecting this printer to the pc.

I took the 97K out on the patio and shot two 15 shot, 1/2" groups at 25 yards and came back in. It's so hot and humid (typical East Texas summer) I came back in. I didn't want my gun to rust.

Been out there maybe six times today.... 10 or so shots and back in. Hard to even get settled in and put a good string together.
I think next time I set up a shooting range I'm gonna locate the bench in a 2' kiddie pool.

I thought it appropriate to bring along my Freedom to the family gathering, I heard rumors of G-hogs and chipmunks, but none were to be seen in the heat of the day. On the other hand many had fun launching slugs and pellets at cattails from 30 to 85 yards. One young shooter had a big smile after getting his first taste of Freedom

Betty Lou let Rambo out and he set off that familiar alarm. Sure enough in the middle of the dirt road.. 'bout a 4' chicken snake. I put my shoes on and grabbed up a 22xx HPA carbine that was handy. I loaded a .177 on the fly and by the time I got out there he was headed for the under brush. I got one shot in just behind the head but he managed to slither off and out of sight. He'll have trouble sleeping tonight. Evil things they are !

I got to shoot my Colt SAA revolver, which is always awesome fun!!!! Burned through nearly 100 pellets. My accuracy at 15 ft (

, I know) is steadily improving. This Colt is fine shooting pistol; but, it's very hold sensitive.

I chronied my Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk this afternoon, getting a string of 911-929 FPS with RWS 8.3 Superdomes. I'm very pleased. Despite the want for a trigger upgrade, it's still shooting very well now I've learned how to hold it and follow through during the shot.

Here's my 25 shots for the day at Red target #2 I made this video shorter than yesterday's by making the target clips 2x faster. I did it after I upgraded my Openshot video editor to the latest linux version.
