Would of ben a no brainer to just use a flashlight, but to that extent didnt wanna give my possition away.
Hunting 101: positively identify your game
I shot my Beeman P17, and it was incredibly fun and accurate today. I tried out my two new RWS 6.9 HPs and the H&N Excite 7.1 HPs. Boy, did both pellets shoot fantastically. I started shooting at bottles weighted with water at 8 yds. I was nearly hitting what I aimed at, even with just open sights. Then, I shot at a reactive target at 13 yards and got a grouping of nearly 2.5" inches. That's as good as I initially got with my Gamo six months ago. Who'd thought a single-pump pistol could be so fun (and accurate).
Exercised the 17's. The 717 and P17 needed a little love. Both are still disgustingly accurate.
Points taken. Sorry.Other news, i shot up a wasps nest outside our door this morning with the salt gun. 4 dead wasps and a nice golfball nest to use as mulch.

I took out the biggest wasp I ever saw with some no-pellet air blasts from the 1322. First I hit it with 6 pumps worth from about 5-6 inches to stun it, then I gave it 3 pumps worth of air at very close range for an attempted kill shot, but the beast was still buzzing! Finally I pumped the gun really fast 9 times and finished it off. That finally made the wasp explode. I've never had an insect survive even 1 decent air blast from the muzzle before. This bug was like something out of a horror movie.

What is it with wasps and electrical boxes? One day on a job I was surveying existing conditions. I went and opened a safety switch and it erupted into a swarming angry mass of wasps. I ran like *(&^ but still got stung at least 10 times! The switch had an open knock out in it, perfect place for a wasps nest. Now a days I tap old switches with a stick or throw a rock at it before opening! Ive found all sorts of weird stuff in them. From Fried rats to snakes!
