Woke up yesterday with what has to be the worst head ache I've ever had in my life. I don't get head aches often and I really feel badly for those that do. It put everything on hold.... even work. I called off and spent half the day in the confines of the bedroom where it was cool and quite. Finally got hungry enough to come out. After eating the head ache began to subside. But I didn't get into anything noise related such as shooting.I feel much better today.... we'll see where it goes.
Wow, the shooting god did not smile upon me at all today. Not sure what's going on, but, Man, I could barely hit anything today. And I'm certain it's the shooter, and not the equipment.
Got to shoot my new Diana Chaser in rifle mode. Scope zeroed easily and was getting dime sized groups at 30 yards shooting H&N Field Target Trophy 14.66 gr. Have not tried any other pellets yet.I got the Chaser Kit from Mike Melick of Flying Dragon Air Rifles with a tune. 22 cal 14.66 grain shooting at 625 according to Mike.Call me happy.
Shot my new 397 indoors at 20 yds. Just to relax a bit.So far it’s doing very well with the cheap Beeman pointed pellets.
Yesterday I did a little shooting. First up was Art. I had received a folding fore stock handle and mounted that. I sat in a lawn chair and shot off my knee at various targets in the yard. I wrapped that up and straightened up the shop some. Later I pumped up the Streamline and dialed it up on high power. I shot 5 magazines worth of pellets at 60-75 yard targets. I was having great success hitting those targets and groups were tight. I was thinking how easy it would have been to precisely place a pellet on those rabbits that chewed our newly planted blueberry plants down to twigs this past winter.......
