Plenum Notos.
Disappointing with 17.5fpe to start with CPHP
Apollo 18s with hammer 1 turn out yielded 19.7fpe (back to pre-plenum performance).
I have the regulator increased and she is gobbling air former 24 shot fill is down to 17. ES still around 5 or less than 1%.
The triangle shaped ragged hole is the last group with the Apollo 18s.
Then I pulled out the SST and the MPmolds 35gr monsters 21+fpe and 10 shots in 3 holes but only 8 -9 shots on the regulator.
I read somewhere that these plenum kits benefit from a 4mm plug/shim so we may have to tear into the hammer assembly

Sonja and I took some shots with the CZ-634 springer useing CP wadcutters.  I almost grabbed the C-1, but when she went inside to cool off (it's ~ 93-ish, sunny, not very humid), I filled up the Leshiy and grabbed 20.2 NSAs and some CP domes.  The Leshiy did its usual magic with the domes from 40 out to 60 yards.  I tried the NSAs, first at 40 yards (thumb's up) then  ~ 100-ish yards, but with a fixed 4x crossbow scope with a fat reticle, any hits were more luck than skill. At some point I'll put good glass on the Leshiy- maybe even set aside my pennies for a Dedal.

 I had enough of yard work, and just settled in to do some plinking. Had a paddle target set up and then it started to rain  , the  Walther Nemesis X is not a  Walther Regin
 So I gathered my stuff up, and headed inside, remembered Charles manometer and got that ready.
 I was pulling in the driveway after getting lawnmower gas, I see the neighbor sitting in his back yard in his golf cart, pumping an older Crosman rifle from the looks of it 2100 ish. I waved and smiled, I knew what he was after.
While trimming before I mowed I spotted the intended target near my firepit. The rest of the story should be in the hunting gate, but the Nemesis X did it again

That rifle seems to be the “go to” gun.  It’s easy to get wrapped up in PCP, ain’t it?  I do loves me some good springer action though.  Ain’t nuttin like that “ka-chunck” of the piston doin’ its thang. 🎯🎯🎯

D48, tx97!?, fortitude. All .177. And a D460 in .22 that I'm testing. One shot with one gun, them on to the next one shot with another gun. Just started. So far the d48 and fortitude are hole in hole in the nine ring (d48) and 8 ring (fortitude). The tx97!? scope is off target so I adjusted after the first shot.

Even with powder burners, I never really wanted to get wrapped up in several guns at the same time. This ‘Cuda Max checks off all my boxes at the moment. I will need to start shooting and rotating through my others, I don’t intend to get rid of any.

I took the dogs for a walk around the pasture for the first time in a while.  The weather has just been so hot.  Once the sun got below the tree tops I grabbed the Crosman 2100 and some CPHP.  The dogs know what that means.  So as the evening cooled off we took a little amble around the perimeter.  This gun slings 7.9gr CPHP at better than 700 fps with twelve pumps and I've got it zeroed for thirty yards.  Just inside the tree line Flash flushed a cottontail and the whole pack took off in pursuit.  I never got a shot.  But now I know the rabbits are back again.  I'll get one soon.

I Hunt .22 with the Notos and .303 with the Challenger
I practice "artillery hold" with the Gamo.
We'll see if the pp800r fills the "sidearm during big game" hunting tool and that will be it.
As I see it the only AG "missing" from my tool box is a big bore for high shoulder shots to replace the fire breathing hand cannon.
Every time I compare most .22 to the Notos I would give up something important to me and pay more money (weight/accuracy/carbine format).
Now that I've read Ingot to Target, buying another AG would mean experimenting with at least 2 molds.  I'm close to having .22 and .3035 covered casting wise....

I still have to Do another To-Do-List chore this afternoon and will see if I get around to any shooting later. At least I can assemble the new Rockin’ Rat even if winds gust up again.

I shot a hole in 20 min. of my day waiting on the phone for Daisy to take my order.
Oh, my gosh... that "on hold music" is so depressing. And listening to the super bad quality
recording of it is like finger nails on a chalk board.
I talked to Sheila and she's always fun and great at taking my order.

 I shot Great Grandpa on fathers day


 Today I sighted in a reflex sight on my .177 pp 700, during lunch. When I got home I saw my Discovery 6-34 FFP scope made it here, since I had a short work day and some energy left I went ahead and mounted it up on my FX DRS and did the sight in thing.

Rockin’ Rat is a hoot; wish I’d bought one long ago. Misses generate an almost gonglike sound even if the rat barely rocks. When I looked at the thing, the pellet marks showed where the misses struck, which were close to the edge of the circle cutout. Maybe a miss up high on top of the rat would cause more of a rocking. Maybe the corrugated cardboard I placed the rat on (better than directly on the gravel) affected the motion.

In contrast, hits on either yellow paddle whirled around fast, and more so with the .20 cal pellets than the .177. I used the P3, the 880, and the Blue Streak. The biting gnats made me keep it a short session tonight. But the purchase is a big hit with me. Thanks to the GTA member who posted the link for it about 2 weeks ago.

Get your self a resetting spinner target if you like the rat.

I shot the XS60C some today. 17gr Ruger Superpoints at ranges from 15 out to 45 yards.  As always this gun is boringly accurate regardless of what the range is. I took out a whole squad of green army men at thirty yards.  Got the mortarmen first, then the machine gunner,  the individual riflemen, and I saved the moron with the grenade for last.  It was too dang hot so I didn’t set them up again.
