So.....what did you shoot today?

I took the peep-sighted 50S out to shoot some spoons but, it is so cloudy and dark, I gave up after awhile and brought out the scoped 30S and shot a few spoons at both 25 and 30 yards.   Tiring of that, I shot AT a coke can with my Crosman .357 and then, it was wine o'clock.

So I FINALLY took some time to shoot an AG or two.  Actually THREE!

I set up at 35 yards to shoot the FWB300S since it so calm outside.  I ran through a few pellets with it then I switched over to the HW77K.  Ran through some pellets with that one then I grabbed the Swedish lovely Royale 400.  We waltzed a few numbers and then I was cut in on by Sean.  He is doing the tango with the Swedish girl as I type this.

Pretty much the same as yesterday. It is too cloudy to see the spoons in the dark background with the peep-sighted 50S so, I took the scope-sighted 50S out and shot some 30 yard spoons.  That north wind takes a lot of the joy out of the shooting for my octogenarian bones.

I shot some Norma GTFT through the C362 this morning.  This afternoon I shot spinners at thirty yards with CPHP in the .177 Crosman Fire.

Spent almost three hours shooting my new HW35E and my new HW50S.   The scoped HW35E shoots like a laser, and the HW50S with peep sights isn't far behind.  Charles

Got my Daisy 953 0ut this morning. Shot from the workshop door to the wood heap, 25 yds. Heavy rain here. The tanks are full and the crops well watered. Anyway the little Daisy still performs well. Bought it second hand and the chap before me said he had put 20 or 30k pellets through it and I have had it for years and use it every now and then. FPS has dropped from factory 450 to about 430. It just keeps going. Trouble free and open sights. A little joy.
Been eyeing a 901 but too expensive here.

I took my XS60C hunting today.  I hadn't shot it in a while so after I loaded two new carts I checked the zero with the 17gr Ruger pointed pellets I use in this gun.  Dead on at thirty yards.  I didn't shoot anything while hunting but I did get my Crosman 2100 out and shoot some H&N FTT at various ranges after I came home.

 Switched scope mounts on my SPA Artemis M16 ,25 the first mount I used did not allow use of the multi shot mag. Shot a few sight in shots then ran a mag over the crony. It is running better than new now  This is it with the old mount.

I shot a couple of coke cans with my BRAND NEW Crosman Vigilante. Boy Howdy, is that gun tight. It's gonna take some breakin' in. 

I also shot some spoons with my Beeman R7. Lately, the days have been so cloudy and dark, a scope is required to see the spoons. Winter is coming back starting tonight. I don't suspect there's gonna' be much shootin' the rest of this week?

After the rains stopped and the tornado watch ended, it was a nice summer afternoon and I shot my brand new Vigilante a bit.  I ain't much of a pistolero but it was fun while it lasted.

I shot three mags out of the m25 at 50 yards this morning before work. It was cold and really windy so the groups weren't that great. Interesting enough it seems to like the jsb' better than the fx pellets.

I told myself I was not doing any shooting today because I’ve been feeling tired lately, probably due to the transition from fall to winter conditions.

But...just couldn’t resist pelting a can with the P3, from about 35’ standing offhand. I used RWS Superdomes (8.3 gr) instead of the usual 7 gr wadcutters for that gun. At that distance using the 880 and 5 pumps, the Superdomes will hole the can. With the P3, they left only dents.

Only 12 shots today. The weather is supposed to be merely chilly but clear and not windy the next two days, so I plan to shoot more then.

Tempted to smack the fox(es) that keep pooping right where I place the crate and pellet trap!

Yesterday I shot my new Anniversary 362. I like it and it groups well, I was shooting sub three inch groups standing freehand at 15 yards with the peep sight.    The POA is off to the right and low about 2" but I was just checking how it would group and didn't bother adjusting it yet.

UPS pulled up with the top side of a Sentry .22 705 HC Deluxe form Mike at Flying Dragon. Four screws later I went from .25 to .22 and was back at the bench sighting in and testing pellets. So far, so good. More on this later.

Went out and shot my marauder. Found out it hates all the ammo I currently have and couldn't keep a decent group. At least I think it hates all of it. Had some nsa 17.5 .217 slugs I was testing out and was able to make seemingly consistent shots on paint cans at about 115-135 yards and hit them usually first shot but sometimes it would take 2 or 3. I'd also be able to make easy contact on a 4 in steel target at 100 yards with every shot. Then as soon as I took it to paper at 100 I'd get anywhere  from a 5 in to an 8 in group. So I'm leaving it at my gun just isn't consistent with them. Luckily though I got a few tins of its favorite food I've found so far on the way from pyramydair so hopefully it'll be back to consistent 1-2 in groups here pretty soon.

I am sure that from a rest my groups would tighten up and scoped I would do a lot better. I am not use to peep sights at all.
