In the future-no springs.  Piston is driven by magnetic rail.   Power is easily adjusted and slap a new battery in place in seconds and you're good for another 200 shots.

It was a cold day and the temp was only 43 out, but sunny and very little wind so I enjoyed about an hour shooting my new Daisy 753S and what a fun gun it is!  Charles

I shot a couple of rounds out of a crosman C11 that I got to seal. It had a little metal flakes on the sealing Oring that was a bear to clean off.

Results from Sunday Shoot with ATL AG group:
AEA 30 cal Challenger started trying to sight in at 35.  Second fill and the seal on the Huma reg blows into the valve again. 
The Huma and shim are now out of the Challenger...spring tuning to start next...
The Notos did not like the Apollo 18gr HP....Better with old faithful CPHP 14.3s. The barrel was Nasty so the Apollo 18 domes may have been "dirty."  I shot A half tin before ordering the HPs from Field Supply.
Not to be outdone the 1322 SBR apparently lost headspace and went back in the case unshot.
Ran a half Cart through "Harley" (2240 Stubby) with the WGS Ghost RIng but can't see POI/POA at 35 yards with no magnification...
The Gamo Springer Shot nice groups at 35yards.  Hit the Plate at 50yards and rang the gong at 75yards.  Also shot the new H&N FTT Green (9gr .22s!) and the Gamo liked them....

Sat around the fire pit popping beverage cans with the Dragonfly MK2. 3 pumps is all that is needed punch holes through and through those cans. And if you hit the rims they go flying.

I don't have a 753 but, I do have two 853's. My Monte Carlo 853 has been fitted with 753 sights and innards and is a 10M one-holer with 7.33 gr. AA pellets.  I wish it wasn't so hard to cock; otherwise, it is a great rifle. In fact, they both are great rifles.

I've been out twice already this morning braving the somewhat cold temps and wind walking around with the Barra 1866 BB Gun. I have been just shooting at targets of opportunity such ad pine cones and cans that I had hung on branches of trees. I don't want to shoot at targets hanging on my traps because I reclaim my lead for casting and I don't want bbs in it.
This is probably the closest I can come to reliving my childhood and playing the great white hunter in the woods with my trusty Daisy bb gun. It's a pleasant change form hard cocking springers, temp sensitive C02 and PCPs requiring support equipment. It's also nice for several shots of ammo being onboard without single loading the gun or filling mags, not to mention carrying around a pouch full of pellets.
It's also nice to not focus on a dime size target. Minute of beer can is basically point and click.... no scope required.

Realized another reason I put the Barra 1866 away. It's not bright sunlight friendly. The sun glarring off that gold will blind you. Wait for cloud cover or change shooting angle.

I just came back from walking the pups with the C362.  I stopped at Wallymart and bought two tins of 17gr Ruger pointed pellets which this particular C362 loves.  If the wind dies down some I'll try a thirty yard comparison with Crosman Piranhas.  The winner will be the hunting pellet for this gun.

If the wind doesn't die down I'll sit by the fire with some Crosman destroyers and my old B-3.  It's about minute of beercan at 20 yards.

It's a pretty day with temperatures reaching lower 60's so, I took the peep-sighted HW50S out on the patio and shot a couple of spoons.  Tomorrow,  after PT and mowing the back yard, I'm going to shot some more spoons and maybe a coke can or two.

This morning I shot the Crosman Fire/Prowler at fifty to sixty five yards using 8.64gr H&N FTT.  The 4.51 mm head size is surgically accurate in this gun.  I went fishing along about mid morning but I missed the tide and nothing was biting.  This afternoon I walked the dogs around my permission toting the Crosman C362 and some 17gr Ruger pointed pellets.  We saw no squirrels or bunnies but several pinecones were terminated with extreme prejudice.

I shot the Xisico Sentry HC Deluxe .25. This gun came to me as a basket case that the original owner was frustrated with the results. I contacted Mike Mellick and got the missing parts to make it functional. I did not get a few of the cosmetic parts and don't plan to. Basically what is missing is the picca covering for the barrel shroud and the little button cover for the safety.
I recrowned the barrel and put new orings on it. I also checked the moderator for signs of clipping. Then I set out trying to shoot my cast 250 27 RF pellets with very poor results... ain't gonna happen at any power setting. But what I did find is that the gun absolutely loves most any pellet weighing 24.7. I have 2 of these guns and both give the same result. I have about 4 1/2 tins of pellets that weigh 24.7 and once they are gone, so are these 2 guns. My ultimate goal is to only own guns that shoot my cast .22 and .25 pellets.
As for .177 and .20, I will continue to purchase pellets for those guns until rising prices sour me away from those as well. As it stands I have about 10 guns in .22 or .25 that shoot my cast pellets very well and if it turns out that those are the only guns I have left, so be it. I can only soot them one at a time anyways and they cover all my shooting scenarios.
However, if NOE ever makes a 24.7 RF mold, I may reconsider. I do like the way they Sentrys shoot.
