Maybe I'll offer $225.00 too. Flood them with $225.00 offers.Worth having as a backup.
Watching with great interest. I did not make it ALL the way through this thread, but I did read the first 5 or 6 pages, and then the last 5 or 6 pages. If you don't mind, would you guys be so kind as to save me from pages and pages of reading though all the sidebar stuff, and answer some questions for me ? From what I can tell, it seems you guys that have these compressors, are pretty happy with them ?I know I am. Not really seen any complainants for the yong heng Has ANYONE had a serious mechanical failure with one yet ?Not for the yong heng. The only person I know of that had, maybe still has issues was a tuxing compressor. Same motor, drive box from what I can see, completely different heads. Has ANYONE had to do a rebuild/reseal yet ?Not that I know of.I see that several of you have also added the Gold Colored filter from AliExpress,... and then MODIFIED the filters to perform better. Is this proven to be working better for those of you who have done it ?YES! I wouldn't run my compressor without itThere was also some chatter about a Black filter on LOW pressure side. is this also proving advantageous ? There is a particulate intake filter, is this what you're talking about? What other details of pertinent or critical info do I need to know ?Get the gold filter and set it up the same way as in the Chinese filter hack thread. Use good quality oil in the compressor. Make sure you keep an eye on temps. Shoot more, work less for it Has anyone looked into feeding the input side with shop air pressure ? (100-125 psi) or is it even necessary ?NO. I don't think this would work or be helpful. What is the total cost for those of you with the Compressor, Filters, Modifications, etc. ?Off the top of my head, about $450Has anyone hooked up a kill-a-watt meter to see what it costs to run one of these on the 110v ?I have, only to check amp draw though. Mine averages 11.5a. About 12.5-13 for a split second during start up.If everything is positive on these little compressors, I may have to put a few AG's, a Hill pump, and maybe even one of my (3) 60 min tanks, on the chopping block classifieds to fund one of these compressors ! ! ! Thanks for any replies to my questions.
I got a note that shipping wasn't included in the offer I made so I cancelled the offer.

Oh forgot to mention, the other day had a brain fart. Going inside to have lunch so I unplug the water pump while I take my lunch. After lunch I was filling a hatsan air cylinder that was i setting the regulator. I turn on the compressor. I have a flow indicator inline on the pump hose that spins to let me now that the pump is circulating the water. I forget to plug in the water pump and I didn't pay attention to the temp gauge. Compressor is filling the cylinder to 200 bar. I'm plinking while the cylinder is filling. I smell something was burning. I look over at the compressor and realize I forgot to plug in the water pump. My cylinder did fill to 200bar. I look at the temperature gauge reading 100c😳 I plugged in the water pump and the lines blew right off in the compressor😳 I reconnect the hoses and this time the lines stay on. I felt the water and it was very hot so I replaced the water with fresh cool water. I watch the temp go down down to around 20c. I thought for sure I burn up the compressor. Thinking I did I was ready to buy another. the compressor cooled down, I turn on the compressor and water pump and filled the gun I was shooting to 200bar no problem 😳 I'm still using the compressor. This is one tough compressor 😳
