For you guys/ gals that have the yong heng compressor, is there a way to hookup the water pump when you turn on the compressor? Just wish that the water pump was inline with the on off switch so I will not forget to plug in the water pump?
Ron.... don't forget your lost shooting time for taking the tanks to be filled... lol
Ron I have not noticed a significant increase on my electric bill and I use this compressor almost daily to fill the air cylinder on the gun. If my electric bill was high I sure would notice it. Since owning this compressor since April, I had not have anything major go wrong the the compressor. I had minor issues such as the temp probe coming out of the head and replaced the gauge not returning back to zero. I would not hesitate to buy another as in my opinion the prices are starting to come down. I have a backup compressor an omega super charger that now sits in the corner of my workshop. I use it if I am filling scuba tanks from empty with this compressor is good for. Other than that , I use this compressor as it is compact doesn't weight as much as the omega and portable. I can top off scuba tanks guppy tanks and of course the airgun cylinder. At the time I bought the omega, this compressor was not on the market. Paid $1900 for the omega 😳 That hurts. I could have saved $1500 by buying this and I would have bought it too late now. For me I would buy again😎

After lunch I was filling a hatsan air cylinder that was i setting the regulator. I turn on the compressor. I have a flow indicator inline on the pump hose that spins to let me now that the pump is circulating the water. I forget to plug in the water pump and I didn't pay attention to the temp gauge. Compressor is filling the cylinder to 200 bar. I'm plinking while the cylinder is filling. I smell something was burning. I look over at the compressor and realize I forgot to plug in the water pump. My cylinder did fill to 200bar. I look at the temperature gauge reading 100c😳 I plugged in the water pump and the lines blew right off in the compressor😳 I reconnect the hoses and this time the lines stay on. I felt the water and it was very hot so I replaced the water with fresh cool water. I watch the temp go down down to around 20c. I thought for sure I burn up the compressor. Thinking I did I was ready to buy another. the compressor cooled down, I turn on the compressor and water pump and filled the gun I was filling it to 200bar no problem 😳 I'm still using the compressor. This is one tough compressor 😳KenThanks for posting this story. When running these compressors, constantly watching them is key. Let this be a reminder for all of us.

John I would like a drawing on how to wire it with the on/ off switch along with the hour meter. Wait until you get your compressor so you can have a look inside by removing the cover.

Watching with great interest. I did not make it ALL the way through this thread, but I did read the first 5 or 6 pages, and then the last 5 or 6 pages. If you don't mind, would you guys be so kind as to save me from pages and pages of reading though all the sidebar stuff, and answer some questions for me ? From what I can tell, it seems you guys that have these compressors, are pretty happy with them ? Has ANYONE had a serious mechanical failure with one yet ?Yes, http://www.talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=35895&start=220 This dude had one straight blow up. page 12. Has ANYONE had to do a rebuild/reseal yet ?I have on mine. Burst disk blew, on/off switch fail, rear motor mount broke in transit, on my 2nd set of 2nd stage rings... but it still works (sort of) Currently I need to get another 18amp push button breaker so it will fill to a full 4500psi. It trips at 3900-4000 right now due to a tired breaker.I see that several of you have also added the Gold Colored filter from AliExpress,... and then MODIFIED the filters to perform better. Havent used any auxillary driers yet. Probably need to...Is this proven to be working better for those of you who have done it ?cant say if it works better but I have inspected the inside of my bottle twice since I got my compressor in april, I see no signs of corrosion. I bleed the HP side ever 2 minutes. There was also some chatter about a Black filter on LOW pressure side. is this also proving advantageous ?What other details of pertinent or critical info do I need to know ?even though I have the tuxing, the inner workings are the same. I have had several problems. It's like a catch 22. If you don't maintain it, you may have issues. If you mess with it even to clean it, you may have issues.Has anyone looked into feeding the input side with shop air pressure ? (100-125 psi) or is it even necessary ?Haven't tested it but someone said they did and it couldn't do the job, even feeding it as low as 25 psi. I'll try to find the source on that one since I am going off of the top of my head but I think it is in this threadWhat is the total cost for those of you with the Compressor, Filters, Modifications, etc. ?Has anyone hooked up a kill-a-watt meter to see what it costs to run one of these on the 110v ?I haven't but I should have just gotten a 220V model. I will likely get another on that is 220V. Half the amps for the same power output. Won't make your power bill cheaper but I think the motor will have better longevity. If everything is positive on these little compressors, I may have to put a few AG's, a Hill pump, and maybe even one of my (3) 60 min tanks, on the chopping block classifieds to fund one of these compressors ! ! ! Thanks for any replies to my questions.
