To me this is kind of a confidence builder. I'm sorry you had to be the "lab rat" but it sounds like this little compressor can survive an (oops).However... Since I was fortunate enough to have the AirMax Extreme MKII dropped in my lap (Thanks again for making that happen GTA), I'm looking at the portable 12v systems. Very compact and powered by your 12v vehicle batteries, whether it be your truck or 4-wheeler/atv/utv.... whatever. The also have an a/c adaptor for campground/cabin/home use. The price is up there but, like anything else, it will begin to come down soon enough.

I also am looking at the convience, and portability of the 12 v systems, just be nice to have an option if I can not pay my electric bill ,, due to another airrifle purchase j/k . Just the prepper mind set I was raised with I guess
Has anyone else noticed that the YongHeng gauge glows in dark?
