Any idea on similarities and differences compared to the Blizzard?

I think too the Blizzard had a longer barrel. I seem to remember reading it was around 27".

Well I saw an add for $799 for .357 looked like a bargain if it is similar to the RS II other than Barrel Length

This is definitely the same platform as the Rainstorm II so that is a great deal, also I really like the Blizzard stock.

I still remember when you had doubts about using a .25 wondering if it had the penetration of a .22. That was a few years ago. Then getting rid of all of them. My mind is still reeling from that one. LOL  Now here you are playing with ever larger Cal's. Would love for you to have a .257 Talon/Dor to play with.  You would be so hooked!!! (Would love for Wicked to release a .257)!

Once you have played around with casting really efficient bullets, and virtually zero cost after set up, your pellet gun (Pellet shooting) shooting days would probably be just about over. It is that much of a difference!   It is just another huge step up in accuracy and performance, such as you are now seeing with the .30 pellet shooter.

This seem to me, to be a never ending Adventure manny.  I know if is for me.

Today the tactical stock came in,








The stock feels real solid and well made ( if I had a 10/22 I definitely would look into getting one )

I can tell already I will have quite a bit of work to fit the action in it,

.....better get my act together and start giving some time to my guns, I'm falling behind and piling up projects

Yes,  I'll definitely let everyone know if it has the Thumbhole stock.  I also plan on making a Bullpup stock for it.  Still working out the bugs on my Cad/Cam program for the Bullpup stock for my BT65 in .25.  But I'm getting there.

I saw that thread in the "Bargain" section on the Blizzard and started doing some research on it.  The only thing that I really noticed was that it came out 3-4 years before the RS II, so I figured that there was some newer technology in the RS II possibly.  Also the RS II was on sale at PA for $100 off plus the 10% discount I got it for $774 and free shipping.

Project day.

Time to tackle the Tactical stock,

got me a 1" PVC tube and some 120 grit sandpaper



split the sheet in 2




and wrapped it on the PVC




the stock is hollow and ribbed so it will make work easier,



And the tedious part of sanding away starts

He sold it 1-2 years ago, but I think it is someone else he works with.  I got that from a personal communication with Rick. I have purchased 5 rifles from them, all were good experiences.

Nice manageable size for a full power .30.  959 is HOT.  Still shoots straight, it looks.  No hissing and no tumblers?

Did some more work yesterday, sure is tedious to sand the space for the air tube away, I think it's gonna be a little while for this project to be completed
