Manny did your factory stock break ? Apologies if you posted and I missed it
FRP and some glass over the FRP then Mount the trigger guard to the FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) You will need to fill in the inside of the stock sort of a glass bedding thing to set up the trigger guard any way and keep the action from moving inside the plastic stock right? Maybe a little bondo to fill in around the receiver or some expanding foam

Nice work Manny. How much weight do you think you shaved off from the original stock? Next time I see one on sale I might pick one up for one of my heavy weights ( hatsans)
That looks like an interesting project, can't wait to see it finished. Have you considered welding the extra part to the stock, cutting some for filler and welding in permanently to the stock then sanding it nice and flat, some heatgun polishing and done.Marko
Now we're getting somewhere! I'm waiting on the pics with the buttstock extended, I'm curious about how it will look. I like the way that stock is made though.
