I have seen it done on firearms with success, should work with an airrifle, lots of people clear coat over it to improve the durability.

On a side note, we will be shooting at my place in Cross,SC on June 11th.

Norman's gun with the dipped stock feels pretty durable to me, fwiw.

Well, I'm in Atlanta now, so I don't know if/when I'll be able to make it back over to the low country.  Maybe one day though, who knows...

Got the gun 1 hour ago.  Not sure how the moderator is attached to the shroud, but it seems to work.  It was sent with 150 bar, so I shot a few.  The gun is quiet and accurate, I am just going to wrap it in matte black vinyl to be uniform and just leave it.  It balances the look of the gun.  Also, the wood is nice and not going to hydro dip.  I am in the club now.

Congrats on the new toy!  Those Crickets are pretty darned neat.  I'd love to have one someday.

Small world - I moved from RC cars and airsoft to PCPs.  I have a Team Associated SC10 that I converted into a SC10RS buggy.  I sold my Mamba Max combo (RC engine and ESC) plus my Krytec SPR airsoft gun to fund my PCP purchase.  Just ordered a new scope (Monstrum 6-24x50 FFP), bipod (atlas clone), spinners, rear bag, etc.

Hey guys, everything is in and set up.  Just need to get tank hydro tested and filled then off to shoot.  The vinyl wrap worked great on cover the shroud and the LDC in an uniform way.  I was even able to fill the gap with a flat rubber band so it looks contiguous.  And it was cheap, 60 inches by 6 inchese for $4 off ebay.

One question:  I want to add my bipod, but really don't want to mess up the wood stock or have a rail in the forend if I take it off.  I have been researching adding either countersunk screw.  Also, I have seen guys adding an inlet, Anschultz harness rail where I could just slide it off.   Any thoughts?

on which 12 acres are pasture if ever a place is needed for a camping/shooting/gathering etc.

I might also have a place for us to shoot as well off of Fulton Industrial.  I went fishing on the Chatt for strippers at a boat launch where there is an abandon baseball fields surrounded by 20 acres of woods.  My friend owns it and I asked if we could shoot on it.  He is going to ask his partners, but a good chance we can.   Scott, since you own it, that sounds better.  Welcome to the group.

I have no idea if or where those guys might still be shooting etc  ?

I just realized I forgot to reply to this...  I was a Nitro guy myself   I was running a 1.1hp .12 ci engine, but then I went "outlaw" and was running a 2hp .18ci on an HPI rush(with a lot of work done to it).   That .18 ci engine was awesome screaming at 39,000 RPMs !  The .12 was actually faster on track, because it would put the power down.  It was just a wheelie/fun machine with the .18, haha!  My friend that raced with me had an TA RC10 with a .15 that he raced.  That stuff is fun, but not as much if you don't have someone to race with...

 I also have a place we can shoot, cook have fun but it might be a little bit of a drive for some of you, it's in Dahlonega. One thing I do know for sure we need to plan a shoot at one of these locations or back down at Normans range soon.

well now this is where my Gladius would come in handy because you could dial the power down to about 2 so that the pellet would smash the head but not pass through and ruin the cooler. That said I'd have to go change my wet undies and pants first.

Stripers? I have Boston Whaler that we can go after.  . But I didn't think the Hooche has stripers. I guess it all depending on where, because they caugh an alligator somewhere there.

Trinh, they are in there, only need some shad on a big hook.  I am attaching a picture on my 12.5lb striper (not stripper - that was funny).  Also caught a 4lb black bass.

Well I'm the one that put the snake in the cooler in the first place so that wont be necessary but I do need that power wheel on a gun.
