We went out to eat at the Rocking K Ranch restaurant last night. I had a Reuben and my wife had Ribs and Shrimp.

Dinner was yesterday's leftover of ribs and corn bread.

Lunch was burgers with pepperjack cheese and tomatoes, and fried eggs. While swapping eggs from the carton to the fridge egg container. I came across 4 eggs that were cracked on the bottom side. I went ahead and fried up all 4 eggs. So, 2 went with the burgers, and the other 2 I ate with tomatoe slices.

Ate some tasty thin fried brisket pieces earlier with sweet tea and lemon then a cheeseburger n fries with ketchup washed down with a peach drink later which both hit the spot. Dessert will be a small yummy bowl of fruit loops in organic whole milk.

We had some left over stuffing from a chicken we cooked a couple days ago.   Also had some left over hollandaise sauce.   You know what happened next.   It was seriously delicious.

Went grocery shopping yesterday and I can say this... there is some really good food getting in my belly this month..   
We went out the door with 2 shopping carts full.

last night I made a pot roast with Carrots, Celery, Pablano and Jalapeno peppers, low Carb, turned out excellent, was very tasty, also smoked up some Atlantic Salmon, with garlic salt and pepper, ate a couple small pieces,
today a pot of Beans with Brisket, onions and mushrooms.

So for tonight, my date and I had the wonderful hot dog and drink combo at Costco.   Total was $3.26  including tax.   I go all out when I have a date with a beautiful woman.

Scarfed down all kinds of Chinese goodness all washed down with sweet tea n lemon. X most of it was on a bed of rice. You're clearly a terrible influence.

Weather is starting to really cool down here. Very soon, those pesky skeeters will be gone, and I can enjoy my fire pit again.

This is Betty Lou's monthly bulk cooking and freezing weekend and she got right to it after an early morning run to the local grocer to finish off the shopping.
Ribs were on sale for $5 a slab so we grabbed 2 slabs. One went into the freezer and the other went into the crockpot with beefstock, veggies and steak sauce along with other spices. That is slow cooking and smelling wonderful. Once that was going she went to work on a big pot of chicken noodle soup. I'm sure she has other things planned that I'm not yet aware of. I saw her in the baking isle of the store so I'm pretty sure that breads, cakes and cookies are in my near future.
In the meantime, she threw me together a doctored up bowl of shrimp Ramen noodles. Now I'm sipping a large cup of iced French vanilla coffee.
