I wonder if anyone has any plans for, or have done a reverse-engineer on the bulldog, to make it a rifle?
The Bulldog has a 14" twist barrel, if you make the bullet move faster it will shoot worse. The first thing I would do would be to change out the barrel for a 20-22" twist. Regards, Tom

If it wasn't so expensive, I'd get a bulldog to mess around with... Hmmmm.... It wouldn't work, but could you imagine a bulldog with a better barrel, in an Armada's stock? I don't mean the whole Armada stock, just the part that goes around the trigger... with a PRS stock. Nice, light, and .357... THAT would be cool.
The Bulldog is really a Marauder.... And that action is proven, The Bulldogs Barrel is securely attached to the Breech...and does have a "Barrel Support" inside the shroud, but that just aligns everything...It is securely attached to the Breech, and would be considered free floated if not for the shroud. Once the shroud is installed...it becomes part of the Barrel,Breech and Stock.. Fairly Solid, That is how I know this thing was built on a Computer..and tested. This is 2015....why are people so ignorant about synthetic materials? Can anyone post pics of the bulldog disassembled? I'd like to see that before I consider maybe getting one to reverse engineer into a rifle. Is there a plastic shell around the breech too? What's the O.D. of the air reservoir? His Flex is very nearly all metal, where the bulldog is mostly plastic... so OldPro's statement is true. What's funny about that? Also, the original plastic on the M16's were made by Mattel, a toy manufacturer... which is why a lot of troops didn't like the idea of the rifle, in addition to other things, like the lighter round in a jungle environment, or the fact that a lighter round doesnt have as much punch as a .308.
