Believe it or not, KY works the best. Except you have to put it back where it belongs real quick so people don't ask what you're doing with it in the garage.
Fireman - I know what you mean about rust on the barrel. On the barrel cockers that I use the most I have sleeved the barrels with black vinyl tubing. I heat the tubing in a pan of boiling water so it will stretch and gook up the barrel with lubricant. Believe it or not, KY works the best. Except you have to put it back where it belongs real quick so people don't ask what you're doing with it in the garage.

Looking good Austin. Brett how does the paint hold up? I just might try that on one of my QB's. My complaint is the wood is very soft and will dent just laying it on a pellet.Don

Great jobs on the stocks everyone, with innovative ideas and different use of mediums!Adin - Why have you been hiding that talent of yours from us? Just love the bear.

We don't beat on our guns or hunt so they may get treated better than some but no problems at all with any chipping or scratches. For prep, I sanded the gloss off of the original finish and sprayed right over it, that's all. It's pretty tough stuff. HTH
