Let me know how that much that ldc quiets that gun down . I finally got the scope on mine and sighted it in last night, yeah I really like it. At first I was picking it apart but  after shooting it awhile it's grown on me. For only $130 really how can I complain!

I sure will. It should quiet it down significantly. I have the 1.2”x5.43” 1/2-20 on my Terrus and the 6” Hunter 15mm slip-on on my QB78D. The difference is remarkable. My XS60C barrel is 14.44mm, Geo made this one 1.2”x7” to slip on. Hopefully, it ships today, his processes for me so far have been quick and the product is fantastic.

Just got off the phone with Crosman Corp. I could not locate extra magazines for the Akela anywhere online. I ordered 5 of them with the nicest csr I’ve spoken with in a while.

I haven't found my XS 60 to objectionably noisy, in the first place. Maybe Mike just did an exceptional job on the tune.

Well, today is the day. I FINALLY got around to ordering the Trigger Upgrade parts for my Daisy/CMP M853"s. If anyone is interested here is the parts list:

In case tou are wondering about the whyfores on some of these parts... The last 853 I upgraded had a groove worn in the hammer from 10's of thousands of shots fired, and on the two I am upgrading this time, some armorer who was all thumbs boogered up some of the screws. These parts upgrade the 853 to to the adjustable 888 match trigger, so the 853 essentially becomes a 753, in all but sights. I think the Screw Assortment also includes the Trigger Adjustment Screw, which you WILL need. This Mod is drop in replacement, no doctoring of parts required.

ordered a bigger air tank off of Ali express and a 1800 PSI regulator off of Walmart. Now all I need is a .25 poppet for a Gauntlet and I will be ready to experiment with things .

Came in a box with pillows and in the blisters. No dents or bad or bent pellets I could fine. I was satisfied. I've never had any problems with them unless it was a box of 1200 10.5's , which ALWAYS opened up and scattered around the box they were packed in.

This time they were just tossed In a box with some paper loosely stuffed on top.

David thank you for mentioning this, I had planed on getting some JSB .22 in the 500 count tins. I don't want those strewed everywhere and bent. I know the tins are taped but the way stuff is being handled right now, noway I would try it. I will wait till things settle down or work on the NOE pellets.

It is shooting pretty hot, which is exactly what I wanted. And I wouldn’t say it’s normally objectionable either. We do shoot out of the garage a lot, which makes it twice as loud. I’ve just gotten on a kick of quieting them if I can and seeing what I could do shooting hot & quieter, especially going after the squirrels.

Glad I ordered from Trenier then... PA didn’t have what I needed and most guys have reported well from Trenier. We’ll see.

I’m guessing 30. I was all over the place with different pellet weights. I was shooting 5 shot groups & 10 shot groups. Sometimes extra shots before and after groups. So I didn’t keep track of the number shots per charge. After I get the Geo LDC on, I’m going to test those 4 pellets I mentioned as full strings each for accuracy and velocity with new carts each pellet. Hopefully, I’ll get it done Saturday..... but maybe I’ll just run a string tomorrow after work with CPHP 7.9 gr. from the tin just so we have a shot count to start with.

If your getting 30 shots with that full power tune and have a pellet that your gun really likes I would be real happy with that. Let me know. But then can I crank it up myself or do I gotta live with what I have?

Received my UTG scope, 3-12x44 30mm tube, side focus...
Big scope but scales nicely on my Mrod.
Sighted in quickly today but needs refined after I pump it up.
[Pyramyd Air is getting a bunch of my "moldy money" this year.
