Ya know Whirly... the more I think about your post... an airgun for her may seem rather impassioned... maybe an new ironing board along with it.

I'd wait a few days for it to dry totally before clear coating.Oh!Darn, my vision is getting too bad to read the tiny print of the instructions, so I just applied it moderately and set it to dry!Ah well, it's a great learning experience!-WIn that case the rag with turpentine is the way to go...

Received the... uhm....Credit Card statement. SHMBO found out about the Listone Victor pistol before it even arrived. She said, "Did you buy a new air gun?""Yes!.. Is it here?!" says I, then I see what she is holding. I explained what a great deal it was on sale and how the Canadian dollar exchange rate to our USD was to the point I could not pass it up. (the pause felt like eternity) She asked "So 30 isn't enough?" as I got the eye roll... but then she turned with a smile and said.... "Boys".God I love this Woman.
May as well get her a new "push mower" while you are at it.

Have I mentioned how much I love my Hill billy girl...
Quote from: Arch_E on November 16, 2019, 11:04:28 PMOf my rifles, I shot only my HW30 (yep, it's become my favorite!!!!) With it, I bagged four tree rats at various distances (10 yards, 16 yards, 22 yards, and 25 yards) today--simply marvelous!!!! The enablers down in bargain gate helped me to see the value in buying the Baretta PX4 storm .177 pellet/bb pistol. It arrived yesterday, so with the warmer weather this afternoon, I tried it out. Impressive! The CO2 loader really worked (I did use the heel rotation plate), it shot hard, and shot rather well. I got 48 shots out of my first 12 gram cart. and degassed the remainder since my wife pointed out how much louder it was than my rifle. I look forward to shooting this one more often.ArchieAhem.......you may want to jump on this one quickly!
