A buddy on the Facebook airgun groups had 4 rifles he wanted to unload at the rummage sale he was going to do. I guess this weekend? In the pic below, a 760 Revelation. I already have one in near-new condition. But this one has a different forestock. Then there's the Diana, which I wish I would've taken. Then the 761XL I have a better example of as well. Then the Daisy/Sears only rifle. 880 or 900 something-or-other? That picked my interest, so I took that one. $20+ shipping. Supposed to arrive Monday. Needs a resto, but I have most of the materials for that.

Well, the $10 target grips were a bust, palm swell and heel were all wrong for the Bluefork trigger group. Tried to dremel them but just gave up and trhew them in the trash can.

So I went with my second choice and just ordered these.
Original style 1911 Double Diamonds in pewter color. Should look nice with the polished steel of the 2060.



oh... and while I was online, I low ball bid on another vintage Mossy PB. This will be a project for over the winter months.

HW95L .22!  After spending 3 weeks with my HW95L .25!  The .25's a HOWITZER at long range (80 yards) and accurate.  The .22 is in .22 and you all know how I feel about the .22 in an air rifle: Best caliber ever invented for grace and aplomb!

I was surprised to see these Air Venturi animal silhouette targets at my nearest Walmart, and even more surprised to see they were on clearance for $4.75.
Found 'em on PA and even Walmarts website for $9.99 which seems like a good deal already.

I got my 20 7/8 shroud yesterday for my 17 cal marauder. I have to sand down the custom baffles I had a GTA member make and get it all set up and shoot it some.

 I was able to score a Stoeger x10 for $49.95 w/free shipping off amazon by applying for the amazon store card.
 Its a rifle that I had considered earlier before deciding on the crosman phantom np .22 cal , they ran about the same price.
 So when I seen this deal i chose to pick one up in .177 cal (ammo is cheaper and I'm frugal, o.c.d. about that kind of stuff ).
I should receive it by oct 5.

Ordered a "cheap" Chinese hand pump from Amazon...

Kerry, looking forward to your comments about using a hand pump for your PCPs. I've still not bought my first PCP (nor my last springer); but I'm trying to figure out if I could make a pump work. I watched a video comparing an Air Venturi vs a Hill pump. Both took over an hour to fill the tank.

Does your built in pump take that long?

One Diana RWS LP8, one Crosman 2240, some C02 cylinders, and a few pellets just arrived.

The LP8 is smoking like a chimney, but that factory oil is burning off pretty quickly.

I'm impressed with the Diana pistol. I thought it would have a more plastic on it, but it's almost all metal and feels very solid and precise. Fine tolerances, high-quality materials, and flawless construction. Nice firing behavior with little recoil or vibration. Decent trigger too, though not nearly as good as the one on the Beeman P1/HW 45.
