Sorry LOL.  Well, it's been answered already but after the first shot it's 3-4 ES.

That is very good consistency makes me wonder if a long tube can be installed in the short AT? If so can I still have a 1" ldc installed in the barrel without removing the long tube? It would be nice to have a 40 shot full power version in the long tube and a 120 shot low power (12fpe) in the short tube...

Baxter: Have you purchased a special crowning bit for your lathe or just use a regular cutting tool at 11 degrees?
If you are OK with it, can you show a pic of a "Baxtered Crown" -> as I may re-crown all my airguns using such method.

If you don't zoom in with a phone all I see is two orings and what looks like a inside o ring, when I make pic bigger I can tell its a crown.......I want that lathe lol

I'm glad that you were able to tame it down with the regulator! Like I had mentioned, the only option left to squeeze a few more shots is to remove the spacer between the preload screw and spring. Since you are at 0 preload, it will be the same as going -3 or -4.

Btw, Normans valve is not stock.

Even though I'm "whipping a dead horse" on this one, I found a different post/picture where YOU were crowning an AT44-10 barrel.  The picture was similar, but different enough where I could see the 11 degree (concave) nature of the crown.  The newest pic looks like it was squared off.

Anyway, after everything, I decided to try a Target Crown instead of the one you had shown.  I believe you may have gone to this type of crown, anyway.  Afterall, I believe your original crowning discussion was a year ago.

Nope all my crowns are 11deg, maybe different angles or one from my BT65 and one from the AT44, Target crown Vs 11deg same. Target crown is used to protect the crown if you are not using a LDC or some thing. I like the 11deg cause it expands the air away from the back of the pellet to some degree.

Diesel, how did you vent your regulator? Did you just do the "gap" method or did you actually file a channel in the threads and notch your cylinder?

Also, who did you order your regulator from?

I just got an AT44 in .17 and I can tell already that I'm going to want to regulate it. Thanks for the help, buddy.

I did the gap method.  It doesn't take much of a gap because you remove the o-ring from the valve (inside tube) so just hand tighten the valve and back it off just a tinch.  Fill the tube before screwing it into the gun so the pressure will secure the valve in place. I even attempted to contact HUMA directly, but they're not getting back to me either. It would seem that I'm SOL.

Set reg on 100-105 for 900fps 18gr jsb, with bt65 22 cal.
On runs past chrono I get a es of 3.

Without reg there is no way to slow this gun down this much.
I just tapped and put set screws over valve ports, jb wield over, faced port left open at 12:00, drilled that port to match transfer port. I left rest of ports factory. Threw in this reg played with settings a few times and job done.

From all those mods and the reg you must have a very efficient .22, how many shots you get?
you should do a review for accuracy and consistency, the bt65 is a really nice gun

Funny you should ask
Just got a break in the rain, went out and shot 30 shots on a 1 fill.
I think I could do somthing with valve rod, part that is struck to get more shots.
Hammer spring is basically all the way off.
Gun will get a barrel crown when my gun smith gets back in town.

Gun shoots pretty well, when I 1st got gun it was a air hog that broke sound barrier with every shot, till it got low on air.

Now it's my back yard plinker
