So I shot the Piranhas out of my Sumatra into my clay. The power wheel was one full turn. This is what P-Dawgs have to look forward to on my next outing:
My Hatsan 125 seems to like the Crosman Piranhas pellets, and accuracy at 50 yards was comparable to the CPHP pellets. I did not have a way to test expansion when shooting today but will do some more tests over the weekend. My Hatsan is pushing these at about 935 fps at the muzzle so there is some potential for expansion. While the pellets are not soft lead, Joe's pictures are encouraging.
Good to know, Joe. I shot about 30-40 of the pellets this morning at my hunting range and came away pleased with the overall usability. JSB 15.9's will be my primary pellet for the Hatsan 125, but the Piranha pellets may become my backup.
I'd like to see what they look like after a soft tissue hit and a skull hit..... curious to see if the expansion is still there.
