HW98 is Finally Finished!!

Man you guys had me cracking up laughing I got back from shooting this morning and sat down to talk with my wife a little bit, of course I had to check in on GTA too......she said "what are you laughing at"...I told her and she got a kick out if it too.  Get home from work and find three boxes on front porch, all time stamped for a 3-day turnaround.....lol

Well Allan, Today was the day that I decided to get the HW98 out and stretch it out   I got up at 6:15 this morning so I could make my coffee and get down to my parents to shoot before the wind picked up.  Every darn day has been so gusty up on their hill lately, not even worth trying anything beyond 30 yards or so.  I got down there and although it was breezy, it was nothing like it has been.  Let's just say I am EXTREMELY happy with this HW98   I'll post details and pics in a separate post....more to come......

Excellent .... I too got out today focusing on some 30 yard bench, and 50 yard 1/2" groups.  Just as amazed as you were with these "Motorheaded" tunes.  I had great scores on my 20 target 30 yard bench targets, and using the exact holdover that Chairgun told me to use ,,,, I took three shots to find my hold, then I got my first 5 shot 1/2" grouping at 50 yards.  I know no pics, must be BS 8-) ... like you, I will send a bunch of pics when I get back Thursday .... have to travel this week.

Thanks   Actually I had a model 34 back in the early 90's.  I had an RWS 36 and a 34.  Very nice rifles, although I never pushed them for target shooting.  They were my varmint/bird guns on the farm

H & N Barracuda Match 10.65gr 4.53 head.  Now I will frustrate myself all summer long, trying to get 5,  1/2" 50 yard groupings consecutively.  Have to have goals, but this one might lead to my demise.
