My new Hatsan arrived last Sat.. Anyone wanna play 20 questions?
Can it be fire without the clip?
The bbl could be cleaner. Can I fire cleaning pellets? if so, best way?
The Hatsan web site references interchangeable air tubes. How?
Has anyone tried this depinger mod? Your thoughts?
Should I use some silicone oil on the mag and fill adapter o-rings?
Any other initial cleaning or lube recommendations?

Yes the rifle can be fired without the clip
Yes the air cyl is removeable, it screws out counter clockwise.

Can it be fire without the clip?-Yes, but thats wasting air, so I'd say don't do it too often if you hand pump.

The bbl could be cleaner. Can I fire cleaning pellets? if so, best way?-Load the mag with a felt pellet moistened with cleaning solution, place mag in gun & cock & fire. Best method is to remove the barrel & clean with patches & a bore snake.
 
The Hatsan web site references interchangeable air tubes. How?-Stand gun on butt pad, hold tube & turn counterclockwise. Keep an eye on the brass ring, & make sure it turns with the rest of the tube & the whole thing should screw right out.

Has anyone tried this depinger mod? Your thoughts?-Nothing wrong with doing it, but honestly it's not a necessity.

Should I use some silicone oil on the mag and fill adapter o-rings?-Keep mags clean & dry, moisten fill probe o-rings with a finger dampened with water. This is what works for me, & I haven't changed an o-ring on my gun's fill probe in 2 yrs
 
Any other initial cleaning or lube recommendations?-None that I'd say are mandatory. Just shoot it, & clean the barrel if/when accuracy starts to fade

Focal pretty well covered it. Be careful putting the fill probe and and removing it that will help prevent o ring damage. Clean the barrel well when you  first get the gun then start shooting which is all I have done with both of mine.

The air tubes simply unscrew and you can fill them on or off the gun. If you have an extra one you can swap in the field and not have to refill until later.
